Some people here only care about wins and it's sad really how fans expect a club to win game after game after game despite playing a game every 3 days, having injuries, terrible pitches, refereeing mistakes, and teams simply crowding their box constantly.

I guess that's the difference between Interista, fan boys and glory hunters

Man, we got lucky in this match though. It is not going to happen every game and we should really contemplate our performance. We have not been convincing at all lately

we look tired simple as that.. now its break time and we should finally catch up to where we wanna be fitness wise... i think after the break we will look like the team against milan and should look much more convincing... hopefully i dont stand corrected!

What should he do then? There is no one to play other than Balo and if you noticed Jose wasnt to happy with Balo either, he will improve though, today he played Suazo and thats good, he should also strat using Khrin and Aranautovic also.

How can you criticize Mourinho, look what he had on the bench there was nothing he could do.

Anyway I don't know also how our play could be criticized in the first half we were by far the better team, then in the second Udinese took control, then we shined a little but you can notice how tired our players were remember they've played so many games these past two weeks. Then when Suazo came on which was necessary imo we were dominated by Udine until they started to defend we were pressing on and on and we got a deserved win thanks to Sneijder. I think some of you guys are being too critical.

Balotelli needs some lessons before playing again in our shirt! He was very poor, Eto'o at least wanted but couldn't.

Common man: don't get carried away...Inter is no Barca or Man U...Teams don't crowd their post against Inter (ex...the last 3 games: sampdoria, Rubin, Udinese) None of those teams played defensive: Hell Inter ws on the back heel against all those teams...We SIMPLY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH...The sooner we admit that & try to build a good team; the better

Anyhow the pressure is all on Juve now, Sampdoria will dazzle for 3points for sure against Parma tomorrow..but Juve will have a real run for their money against Zenga`s side!

Alright, I'm finally done being overjoyed by the win, and ready to comment on the game.

Muntari was horrible, Zanetti was quite frankly invisible, Balotelli is just a selfish prick, and the ref is just atrocious.

But truth be told, I don't think we did anything to deserve the 3 points today. We had majority of possession, but we basically did nothing with it, and almost let Udinese take the lead through counterattacks on more than one occasion. We need to step up, not only in the attacking front, but our defence as well.

Nonetheless, it still feels good that Inter have managed to sneak the 3 points home despite all that.

We brought in 5 new players, sacrificing our cornerstone for it. Is that not an effort?

Frankly speaking....

There are many problems with, both attack and defence...

But , I have to say...in serie A , we are better than most of teams. Yes...I admit Udinese got some chance...but that is because we are the champion. That is why Udinese cared about their defence so much and we played so hard.

We have to play much better to solve the attack problem when opponents play a defensive style.

Not a great performance but its getting the points which matter. Boys will be better after the break.

5? not really. We played Maxwell/Santon as LB last season. So 6. It's hard to gel for us.

Essien must be bought, pay a premium, who cares, just bring him in, in January, for the love of god. I guess he will also be at the Africa Cup of Nations. But that doesn't change the fact that we need him!

$35 m euros, and an extra 300k for each game he plays in the first year. I don't care if it costs 60 m, that is the position we need, and Essien has more quality than anyone.

Otherwise, Hamsik or David Silva would be nice. It remains to be seen if Silva could play in Italy, but I think it might be worth a shot. One of the finest left feet in the game right now. We are lucky to have two class left footed defenders, Samuel and Chivu, and the left foot of Cambiasso.

I do not want to see Balo again....Give suazo more chance , please! He played much reasonable than Balo!

And I hope Etoo won't be disappointed with the few support from teammates.

What games were you watching? Sampdoria dove and defended for 80 minutes last Saturday. The other 10 minutes they spent celebrating/scoring/substituting.

Udinese today simply counter attacked us. If you watched this game and thought that Inter was even close to being on the back heel then you are stupid. Udinese had odd waves of attacks which were scattered throughout the match. Why else would Lucio have been called offside in a NON-dead ball situation? They played counter attacking football today.

2 of hamsik/d'agostino/gourcuff and a super-sub striker and inter become the most complete team in the world

and if our starting 11 stay healthy we ARE good enough to beat any team in europe

1- essien is right-footed, we need a left-footed mid other than motta
2- he's way too expensive
3- we need creative players not more tacklers
4- there are better younger and cheaper options with serie a experience

if we lack something we shouldn't panic and resort to the most expensive and high profile answer, we should buy smart not big ( quaresma anyone? )

Gourcuff would be interesting. Either he would split time with Sneijder, or we would play with 2 AM and 1 CF.

Hamsik will join us, as will Zapata. But we need quality to replace Muntari, Zanetti, and Stankovic (Dejan is good for the medium term, Muntari needs a replacement ASAP, and Zanetti will need one by the end of the year)

Maybe we could make another swoop for Lamps, if Essien is totally unattainable.
