Overall, i think both are fairly good in defense, but till now I am convinced that max is better in the attacking role, speedy, and more accurate crosses, but the problem is that Grosso is a better crosser, but only after many many mis-crosses if that's a word :D

so I guess maybe max in the midfield would be better at least more accurate crosses... Crespo will do the rest :)

Max did look lost for a while in midfield v Catania. But he did ok generally. Grosso will start crossing well consistently when he starts playing regularly. I've seen him in his lower league days and he is brilliant going forward.

BTW where is Recoba?

I would play Maroufi in this game.....about time we give him a chance...

I know we have a record going on and cannot afford to take our foot off the pedal....but that way we wont ever do it.....atleast 20-30 mins in second half is a must

We should field a full strength team here, and then rest them in the match right before the Valencia match: The Livorno match.

I am hoping for a Adriano-Ibrahimovic duo, wich I pray to God will also be seen in the mother of all games on tuesday against Valencia.

Bring home our 18th win on trot and continue our streak of not having lost 31 matches in a row ( 26 wins and 5 draws ) FORZA RAGAZZIIII

Damn 10 minutes before the game neither Gazzetta or inter.it has the line-ups. Why do they have to announce them in the last minute in Italy?

Whining always helps -

INTER: 1 Toldo, 13 Maicon, 2 Cordoba, 23 Materazzi, 16 Burdisso; 4 Zanetti, 21 Solari, 7 Figo, 11 Grosso; 8 Ibrahimovic, 10 Adriano
A disposizione: 12 Julio Cesar, 6 Maxwell, 25 Samuel, 15 Dacourt, 91 Mariano Gonzalez, 9 Cruz, 18 Crespo
All.: Roberto Mancini

UDINESE: 1 De Sanctis; 2 Zapata, 14 Natali, 6 Coda, 26 Motta; 8 Pinzi, 5 Obodo, 11 Muntari, 20 Dossena; 18 Asamoah, 10 Di Natale
A disposizione: 70 Casazza, 82 Lukovic, 21 Zapotocny, 29 De Martino, 4 D'Agostino, 86 Siqueira, 15 Tiboni All.: Alberto Malesani

Arbitro: Marco Bergonzi di Genova

I love this line-up to be honoust. Only thing I'd want is that Maxwell is subed with Cordoba and Burdisso goes center. Though maybe we should play Dacourt, but Mancini doesn't want to take an injury risk with him I guess.

Don't understand the point with playing left-backs in a diamond midfield when we have guys like Mariano rotting on the bench. But ah well...

And as a result, Burdisso on the left again...:wallbang: Guess he's gonna try that again at the Mestalla.

Funny how none of our midfielders are true central midfielder.

Edit: Or...maybe Burdisso is playing as a ball-winner and Grosso on the left back!

Oh what an interesting line up!
I wonder how Solari shapes up in a deeper role, and im hoping to see an effective Ibra Adri link up

I'm a genius.

Anyways, don't see the point of this formation. Maxwell should have started while Cordoba hits the bench.
