interesting notes:

-Twente will also hope to capitalise the holders’ injury crisis, which has claimed nine first-team regulars, and means another start for reserve goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi, Marco Materazzi and Jonathan Biabiany.

-The Eredivisie side, who will overtake Inter with a victory, are unchanged from the side that lost 2-1 to AZ Alkmaar on Saturday – a match in which central defender Douglas was sent off after 31 minutes.

90 percent of twentes goal oppurtunities come from high crosses and headers. Matrix may have made a little mistake, which ibra i believe embelished a little too much, but matrix should do fine. Plus he had one start in god knows how long, and he butchered it, im sure even he's not dumb enough to do that again.

I still believe in rafa, he's just digging deep on one of the most injured teams in inter history!

Many are injured but in the first 11 only a few first team players are missing (compared to many games last year). agreed some big players, but this is Inter - should be able to cope. Remember when we had those CL suspensions, midfield crisis, cambiasso in defence etc etc. Mou was able to handle it....Rafa can not even handle a full strength squad.

Inter need to win otherwise we in those days of waiting for the last game. Obviously I want Inter to win, but hope that does not mean Rafa buys himself another few weeks.

Thats probably the most pathetic bench ive ever seen in my 15 years of watching Inter.

I wonder what Rafa's reasoning for putting Cordoba on the right instead of Santon. Not that i rate Santon as anything special, but with everything from midfield and backwards being pretty much a retirement home you would think that having an experienced cb on the bench to come on if one of the old men gets tired late in the match would be a good idea.

You know its a important match when you see Massimo Moratti in the lockerrom 10 mins before the match starts.

I'm looking at the starting line-up, I'm looking at the bench and I realise that any coach in the world would have had problems, especially one who comes after Jose's legacy.

Rafa may be the scapegoat, but for me it was Massimo's and Branca's strategy in the summer that fucked us.

The insane amount of injuries can only prove better how naive we were by relying on the slumping "old-guard" and not doing the necessary adjustments when we had to.

I know Rafa fucked up on multiple occasions until now, It's as clear as the sky, but to me he isn't the main reason because we are now were we are....
