Toldo is probably still our #1, but Cesar is a very close backup... During this time, Cesar is #1, coz Toldo has physical problems (not injury, match fitness probably)..
Cesar should play in supercup but he's slightly injured , so Toldo had to step up for the place...

Perhaps now is the time to unleash Figo. I think he could do some serious damage against Treviso and he needs to get some game time from somewhere otherwise he will be unfit all season. I quite like that team. However I wouldn't be surprised if Mancio goes for the safer option of Ze Maria on the right wing and deki on the left....

I like the line up, but Deki is protected by Mancinis favouritism so Deki sitting on the bench remains to bee seen. And from Mancio Interview it seems like Figo won't start.

Dude, what has Veron done to receive so much heat?

Not only has he been playing great so far in the pre-season, but it isn't as if he's not a talented player. At his very best, he's one of the world's greatest at his position. I remember you pointing at the Supercup final vs Juventus and mentioning that Seba wasn't all that good besides his gol (I may be thinking of someone else, but I doubt it), but this is a prime example of why Veron is probably the most under-rated player in this squad. Besides the fact that he came back and defended for us very well when he had to, he distributed the ball, created space for us and linked up with Pizarro undoubtedly makes him the MOM. Even the ignorant American announcers were singing him praise.

Nevermind my venting, just had to get it out of my system. Anyways, the Serie A season is upon us in about 7 minutes. I'm off to go watch. Isn't it great when you have 3 channels that show Calcio this year? :star:
