This is actually hilarious because it's such a typical Inter situation. Not only should the players not legally be allowed to go with their respective NTs, but the club should have obviously stopped it. Pathetic.

What the hell is going on?
Inter are banned from playing matches at a crucial part of the season, and our players are put in quarantine, only being allowed to train, but after only four days with no training we immediately have to hand over our wage earners so that they leave their already-existing bubble, can play matches for their respective nations, get fatigued, maybe injured, maybe get Covid from someone - all in all, going against every single one of our interests - and if they do anything but train, the same players - our players - are then fined upon return?

I'm sure the national federations have been closely instructed as to what the protocol is here - both from ATS and hopefully from Inter - and if they then themselves implicitly - scratch that - explicitly force our players into action, then how are we not suing the hell out of every single one of them?

Yep. All our internationals (minus the South Americans) are either already with their national teams, or en route. This Sassuolo / COVID situation ended up going from best possible outcome to worst.

Disagree, I think everyone who can play should play this international break. Our schedules leading up to this break was light, and 3 weeks break after Sassuolo cancelled may be a bit too much and we may lose some momentum. Playing some internationals friendlies now should brings more good than bad to our fitness.

It’s worth noting though that a lot of our players were away on internationals whilst teams like Bologna and sassuolo will get to rest there’s so it’s gonna be some tougher games for us just cause our guys will be more knackered.

Least bastoni and brozo will be rested for Cagliari...though I would have rather they didn’t.
