No way. Despite insisting Gnoukouri stay with the first team rather than go out on loan, and despite losing a midfielder in the January mercato and not replacing him, I 10000% expect Mancini to play a 4231 with the double pivot of melo and Brozovic - nevermind the fact that every single time we've played 4231 our midfield has been humiliatingly overrun and utterly dominated.

Yesterday we saw that without Melo we can play 433 4231... all formations, but it dont makes sense. Because he is the only player that can make the regista and get the ball, even if he does a lot of fouls sometimes..

So, the problem why our midfield gets dominated is not the formation but our players. And i really i dont know why this started to be a problem. I know that Medel is not one of our best players or the fact that Kondogbia is not the one from Monaco. But if we compare this situation with 3-4 months ago, it looks like theyre are way worser now...

In this moment im thinking generelly that the only problem is not only the coach but also some players. In the first 30 minutes it was terrible to watch Kondogbia and Brozovic. I can understand that we have a tatic problem but Kondo just cant pass the ball some times. Brozo looked very poor, specialy in defending.. well, maybe there is a reason why Mancini tryed him as Trequartista..

Sampdoria have only won 2 games since Montella took over. Both of those games were against teams who were even worse (at the time), Genoa and Palermo.

Knowing Inter, I don't have too much confidence really.

Sampdoria were actually quite decent against Roma, at least in the second half, when they scored and hit the post. I expect us to win, but I can also see they giving us trouble - I mean, the opponent giving us trouble, in addition to the ones we already have all by ourselves.
