Regrettably, I didn't have the chance to watch this game before it got spoiled for me.

Funny enough, though, that the way it unfolded was the exact opposite of so many of our games this season. Wonder why that was. Usually, if a good first half/bad second half team has a rotten first half, then you're really not looking forward to what's going to happen next. Not this game, I guess.

To be fair,that first half was a disaster. Had that been Juve or Lazio or Atalanta it might have ended much differently.
Winning the derby doesnt mean we couldnt have done a better job getting into the game to begin with. Matches like this and other big games need aggression and determination. They also need tactics from coach to make things easier for the players and get into the proper momentum.
One example would be not playing and risking too much in the back with a nervous goalie.
