• I remember the time when I did not rate Stankovic highly. I only rated him as a jack of all trades, but what I wouldn't give to have such a midfielder in our lineup today.

Indeed the most important question but since he is Dutch we all know the answer to that question.


I'm hoping for an match like the last derby not with the tension of a penalty in the last minute but overall. We are on the right track and we playing ''home'' so we must win, I don't rate Milan highly and Higuain doesn't stand a chance if Skriniar and de Vrij are playing. If we win the midfield we will win the game. I'm really excited about this game but there is always a voice in the back of my head who says: ''Don't get to hype, its still Inter we are talking about.''

I've seen us consistently lose the midfield battle but win the game so I'm optimistic either way!

I don't like Higuain but I rate him, for sure. I see him like a non-poacher version of Inzaghi, but that is absolutely 100% subjective. He is clumsy, he slips on the pitch all the time, he misses sitters and generally has very little grace in his movement yet his physical imposition often gets him where he needs to be. Above all he got that winning mentality and he is not a striker to be underrated. I feel very confident in Skriniar and DeVrij locking him out but I sure won't fault them if he manages to get one goal past them.
On the other hand, Icardi absolutely must deliver. Milan's defense is a joke, their goalkeeper is a joke and we are sure as hell not gonna give them their first clean sheet of the season.

I miss Stank too! But while no two players are ever alike, we do have such a midfielder today - Nainggolan. What we are missing is a Cambiasso, a player like that could improve our starting XI immensely.

Isn't 8:45pm CET the "game of the week" timeslot in Italy? Not trying to make an excuse, especially because Juve-Napoli wasn't in that timeslot a few weeks back. But I know both derbies last year were scheduled for the same time and day as this weekend's.

Many years ago (i think it was the Strama season), i remember a Derby d' Italia being played at 3 pm CET on Saturday because Juve were playing in CL.
