Probably because Motta's goal came in Milan-Inter (same with Deki's) while now game is Inter-Milan.
That could be it as well.

you didn't mention our possibily biggest problem, Sommer. I still don't trust him that much. Now that we have a real opponent (at least compared to our first 3) we could concede more shots on goal. Leao and Pulisic have a really good shot, Sommer better be prepared. I already could see him doing a Dida or Karius, hopefully im wrong.
I could be completely wrong, but I see Sommer as a really good shot stopper.

It's more his height (claiming high balls) and ability with his feet that concern me, but the latter is mitigated with De Vrij, Bastoni, Hakan, Dimarco, Barella, and possibly Pavard on the pitch who are all excellent with the ball and can collect from deep.

Yeah that might be it, even though the video is called "Top goals vs Milan".

Will he play Frattesi or is the lad going to be marinated on the bench?

Depends on Acerbi’s condition and who looks better in training for me. De Vrij is still my main worry in this fixture. Acerbi has demonstrated that he can handle Milan and has had more time to prepare with the staff while De Vrij was with the NT. I think it also depends on who Inzaghi would want to start for the midweek CL fixture.

If Acerbi is fully fit he should start. I know De Vrij has looked like his old self in the first 3 matches, but Milan is stronger than the other 3 teams we've faced and I trust Acerbi more to handle Giroud.

Barella is not in good form lately. So, I don't mind if Inzaghi fields Frattesi instead.

Barella mostly doesn't look "good", but he does so much work in the midfield, that he doesn't need to look good all the time.

There is still a lot that I don't like about this Inter side, but Barella having shit shots every match doesn't make me want to bench him for Frattesi.

It's a fighting squad. If Barella/ Miki underperform, then Frattesi can coming around 60-65 minutes. The same with Hakan/ Asllani, Dumfries/ Cuadrado, Thuram/ Arna. 2:0 Inter.

Maybe Alexis can sub Lautaro at the end, if we have a positive result.

What’s this thing with underrating Barella so severely? Dude is legit world class and most probably one of the ten best central midfielders in the world. Look at our 2-0 against Fiorentina.

Especially look at the start of the attack, and tell me how many midfielders can retain possession in that situation like he did.

I appreciate us not flying too high and underrating our players but Barella is a world class player.

I'm not mad about Acerbi starting, if that's the case. Yeah, De Vrij is in good form, but Acerbi had a truly unbelievable season last year which culminated in shutting out Haaland.

If he's fit, he's shown he can do the job against Milan 4/4 times that he's started.
