I just wonder who Pioli will decide to play in the midfield. We will be missing Melo and apparently Joao Mario is also suspended.

I'm assuming Banega will come into the team but I wonder if Kondogbia will get a start. Surely if he doesn't his time is officially done here right?

Banega is a disastater in midfield. I hope he is benched and only given not more than ten minutes. I don't think Pioli would make him start anyway. He seems to know what he is capable of really well.

Well who is supposed to play there if not Banega? Melo and J.Mario are suspended Medel is still injured, all we have is Brozovic, K-Dog and Banega, okay sure Goku, but I don't see him starting?

It's a fuck up that Banega doesn't even start more, and that's all I'm going to say about that.

Good enough to start for Argentina but obviously not good enough for us.

People wrongly think Argentina only has world class strikers. Look at some of these other starters: Mercado, Mas, Funes Mori. Names that send chills down your spine.

Banega is more than capable of being the AMC. Against Sass we saw the team play a more typical 4231 with Joao Mario as the 10. If we set up the same way, Banega can be successful.

The bigger issue will be who to partner with Brozovic. Hopefully Pioli can just sit Kondo or Gnokouri down and make them watch (and re-watch) Melo's first 60 minutes from yesterday. Watch it again and again. Then repeat that on Wednesday. It really wasn't rocket science.

We have to go back to 4-2-3-1 for this:

Handa, Murillo, Miranda, D'Ambro, Naga, Kondogbia, Brozo, Banega, Eder (I think Perisic needs a rest), Candreva, icardi

If we play Kdawg and Banega, 3-4-3 ain't gonna cut it. Pioli has to be fluid in his tactics.

Lazio rape us down the wings every time we play them. I would like to see a 4-4-2.

These are the games in recent memory where we find a way to lose. We're on a decent streak right now, and if we're serious about qualification, then sadly this is a MUST win.

Should be a doozy.

After this one, at the beginning of the second half of the season we are facing Udinese away, Chievo, Palermo away and Pescara, then Jube away.

If we were to get a proper winning streak and give the CL spots a real run this season then at least 10 points, excluding the Jube game, are a must.

Why change from the 3-4-3 that we've been having good results with?

Banega should be given until the summer. Truth be told though im glad its j.mario starting above him, and he looks like a great player. Give Banega more time though, we WILL get injuries and he is a class replacement to have. Sell K-dogshite though. Currently Banega deserves to be on the bench, subpar performences and mario and brozo playing well

A draw is good here..

It's not enough.

With a draw, Inter is just the same old slow horse with no perspective this season.

The process of Inter improving has started, and it must continue with a win.

Do you remember the goal Argentina conceded between his feet while he was suppoed to be guarding post? He isn't not known to be focused even he was much younger. And now he added to that a weird lack of form.

with which midfield? If Melo and Joao would play, maybe yes. But both was very important in the last games.
