Derby d'Italia

The time for derby came. After some 0-0s and a great Ibra win we MUST beat juBe in our ground.
The match will be played in 22nd of November(Saturday) @ 20:30(+1GMT).
The fact they had some great apperances in the last weeks means good to us, so our players will be more motivated for this derby. Ibra will tell his teeth again, he's on fire! Bad that Cordoba will not play for this game since he got a yellow tonight. Best luck to interisti!

FORZZA i PAZZA INTER!!!

It was against Juventus last year in the Coppa Italia where Burdisso began his poor performances.

Its a bit ironic that he will most likely play against Juve. Hope his performance will be a blessing in disguise rather than a handicap. Eithier way it will make this match more exciting to watch.

Another big test for Mou's Inter. I am eager to find out what formation he will use against Juve. Few things we have to be caution about

1. Juve form: 7 win on trot with 2 wins against Real Madrid
2. DP FK: damn, gotta admit hes good at that and JC sometimes have trouble dealing with FKs
3. Ibra form: If Ibra have an off day, we need to find other solutions to score
4. BURDISSO: Most likely he will feature. Finger crossed

We havent won this fixture in serie a since 03/04.

They seem in form at the moment, but our defense is doing fairly well with Samuel back so we should keep them from getting any real chances, but obviously from setpieces they are very dangerous.

Unfortunately, they shouldnt have many difficulties either, defending against our lackluster offensive play.

Low scoring draw seems the most probable result.

Chiellini vs Zlatan will be interesting.

Its going to be very difficult. We have been abysmal in the striking department. They have been very good. And they rightly know the way to stop us - Stop Zlatan and Maicon.

Would be a great game.
Man Cordoba not playing is a huge blow. I still have nightmares of what Delperio and Trezeguet did to Matrix and Burdisso last time round.

Also we cant afford to give Juve retarded free kicks close to our penalty area, Delpiero can strike them sweet. Hopefully Adriano plays this game.

Adriano hasnt played for god knows how long, i doubt he will return to start in such an important game.

Besides, no one knows if the flu stuff was just BS or what the fuck is really going on with the situation.

I wouldnt count on seeing him tbh.

On the other hand, i can see Mourinho bringing his boytoy Queeresma back into the starting lineup.

Azzkikr, why do I see Mancini in your avatar?

Del Pieros' FKs are deadly; In this situation Mourinho needs to do 2 things:
1. talk and practice FKs with Julio Cezar.
2. Tell the players that in this specific situation it's better to take the risks to let Juve get medium scoring chances rather than let them a FK.

That is really a threat. Mourinho said something about international games and that Quaresma will be rested for this match (apparently Ricky isn't called for Portugal's match?).

matrix man marking amauri would be ok but no Burdisso please!

while I'd prefer Materazzi over Burdisso, Materazzi-Samuel pair showed one of the worst defense I've ever seen in Inter. Will Mou knows this? I'm not sure.

2 giants in defense would make life very hard for Amauri...

But Materazzi would give DP a session of FK practising :(

If I had to choose the defensive line up, I'd rather choose Samuel and Cambi, cause Matrix and Burdi both are dangerous.

It has to be Burdisso-Samuel.
We cant play Matrix and Samuel together. They are both too slow and while they can contain Amuari well, DP might create problems

I think Matrix and Samuel would be a good pair for this game. But I think DP might then attack Matrix more. The smart money is on Burdisso and Samuel and then pray that Burdisso doesnt have a brain fart.

Quaresma will play, knowing Mourinho and then will be substituted after being jeered by everyone including the referee. I expect Adri to make a come back and Cruz dropping out of the lineup.

And I cant wait for Chiellini vs. Ibra.

.

Aparat of suspended Cordoba im worrying about that.

When training resumes on Tuesday, Mourinho will be without Adriano, Mario Balotelli, Francesco Bolzoni, Nicolas Burdisso, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Julio Cesar, Mancini, Maicon, Victor Obinna, Dejan Stankovic, Davide Santon, Javier Zanetti and Patrick Vieira, who have been called up to their national teams for the midweek friendlies.

Cristian Chivu, Hernan Crespo, Luis Figo, Luis Jimenez, Nelson Rivas and Olivier Dacourt will continue their injury-rehab programmes on Monday with individual sessions

Vieria and others please just dont get injured.

I'm looking forward to Mourinho vs Ranieri, a match that should run all week long, and a couple of days after the derby. But who knows, maybe Ranieri has learnt his lesson and decides it's just best to zip.

I wonder wat u think of putting Maxwell alongside Samuel in Defense and moving JZ to LB?

I know he has not really played CB ever for Inter, but I gt more trust in him than Burdisso and Materazzi put together.
