well then ... 4-0 against Shanghai team, not a bad result.

We shouldn't care about the results at this stage of the season, the important thing is how well they played as a team.

I am happy with the result and more happy to hear that Emre in the line up, Burdisso & Veron playing well, etc.. :D

well done inter. ;)

Cambiasso has been getting tons of praise. Maybe he will be a mainstay in the midfield touting C.Zanetti for his spot??

I'm excited with the progress the team has been making and all the good news on individual players doing well. And just imagine that Davids hasn't arrived yet. I'm sure when he arrives the team will do even better  :star:

Sure it was just a friendly, but its definately gotten my blood pumping for the new season :D

btw, It's said that it's nothin serious but Emre's injured again. May be it was just a precatuion measure taken by the Inter ....

Poor Emre, injuries' part of his game :(

I'm glad Emre finally got a chance to play. It's a pity he played so little though.

Did the Shanghai team relly play very physically? Did they make any horrendous tackles on any of our players?

Oh God damn it. :( I didn't know that this game was shown over here. Been hell busy this few days. Friends coming from overseas, tons of projects and parents were here so I can't stay up late.

This thread is funny though. :D The match was 'confusing' in the way that it was described here. The pick of the lot is when Gismo said, "Jane Doh out, Semenzato in. Jane Doh out, Jane Doh in." :D

I like the midfield formation though. It seems that Veron is the trequartista, Cambi the ball-winner and Emre & Deki playing the slightly 'flanky' role. I just hope that this continues, Cesar doesn't come and Davids replace Cambi, not Emre.

Someone please enlighten me, this is just half of the squad, right? Recoba, Cannavaro and co are in Japan to play Urawa Reds, right? Thanx. ;)

Happy to entertain. :D It was so phucking hard to see the faces sometimes due to bad quality... And I had to try and enlighten Jimmy and the others. :)

And since I saw X-Files the day before... :p

About Veron: He was more like our Danish Thomas Graversen. A pitbull defencevely and creative offencevely making pinpoint passes to the whole team. Only a better version of him of course.

Yes, this was only half of the squad. But Canna won´t be going because of his son´s accident. ;)

They were brutal only because they took this friendly match a bit too seriously, after every horrendous tackle was a gesture of handshake/hug. Zicu was amazing

Emre did seem to have injured his shoulder (Or something like that) quite badly :thumbsdo:

Good to hear the boys did great. Hopefully they all continue to do well, especially Veron. I think he is one of the main pieces to the puzzle of a pic of the Scudetto :star:

BTW where did Zicu play on the field? LW?

I didn´t notice but I suppose he is fairly good with both feet. What I did notice was his magical skills. A very technical player who is a little slow.

Maybe if he continues with good displays he might actually stay for next season. Though who would be pushed out? Perhaps with Zicu staying Kily could be sold? I would definately rather Zicu to stay and Lamouchi and Farinos to leave instead.
