You're not the only one. I tend to have sympathies towards most small Italian teams as they carry some passion, culture and history to an extent. Chievo has neither. They're like cockroaches. I thought we were done with them when they got relegated in 2007. These clowns even tried to play in the CL and lost to some Bulgarian team after the Calciopoli.

maybe you went a tiny bit too far here? :eek:blivious:

i don't particularly like them either by the way, they represent... well, not much.

chievo could have not existed till the 90ies, when the number of supporters was fundamental.

they thrive on tv rights, to which their actual contribution is very small.

but it's not their fault for that, the system should change.

Well, I don't want them to be annihilated or anything. Just go to Lega Pro where a club of their stature belongs. They can play in the Serie C coppa with Benevento there.

Chievo are always difficult to play. Extremely organised, not mistake prone. Won't be shocked if we draw.

If nothing else a Valero, Brozovic, Mario midfield should be fun to watch. Hopefully we can hold possession for long spells and create for Icardi so we can kill the game off before our midfield starts to tire and we have no one to sub on. But who am I kidding I don’t even trust this team with a 3-0 lead.

Even though we shouldn't need help, Chievo will play on Wednesday in a derby against Verona. They might play close to their full lineup given it's a derby and given that their squad is quite aging they could be having some tiredness.

Hopefully Dumbo will start in the middle (with naga/dalbert and santon on the flanks), I don't want to see Ranocchia on the pitch. Really curious to see how Brozo and Mario perform if they start, which is looking likely.

These are the napoli games. I can easily see them drop at least 6 points. Given that those fucks wont qualify for ChL and that will fck em up.

Juve has some tough games as well.

Whereas we have only the juve game.

I really believe we will be the winter champs and sunning will go bananas on Spallo requests in january.

This, this is what's wrong with us, why would anyone want to go crazy on the transfer market if the team is doing well? Unless there is a clear need for new signings I say, don't touch anything or anyone.

i hope they go bananas regardless of the outcome of next matches. if we at some point start to drop points, it will most likely be because of a thin roster.

not saying it will happen, but up until now spalletti is almost working miracles... the next step will be walking on water (then the next level after that will be making ranocchia perform well. :eek:blivious: )

Yeah, I can understand the morbid curiosity I'd really like to see how we play without Candreva and Icardi since it would mean a completely different style.

More likely Suning will tell Spalletti that he clearly needs no new players

I like your optimism, but lets not get carried away. Despite our best ever awesome start, we are 2 points behind Napoli, only 2 points ahead of Juve and Roma (if they win their game in hand) and only 4 ahead of Lazio (if they win their game in hand). We are just one poor run of games away to fall out of top 4. That is the pessimistic view to counter (anti-jinx) your optimism.

I think we need to just focus on our games. Talk of scudetto is WAY too premature.

cancelo and dalbert will have to wait for coppa italia, i can't see them being deployed before then unless another couple of players get injured.
