I hope we smack the absolute sh1t out of Catanha, I want something very unprecedented. Seriously, Catanha should not be given any glimour of hope for survival after we give him, sorry them..a beating,

Great to have Inter playing again, our opponent isn't top class but lets no get careless, I hoping for a win, I don't care if we get a 1-0 win or if smash Catania, I just hope that we can rest and protect our best players to the game against Spartak.

Vieira won't be back for this one, but I have the feel that Il Capitano will be back to our defensive line, although I feel that he will play in the left side, isn't Maxwell fit already? If we can't test him against Catania then he will have a hard life at Inter.

And what do you want Alex???

And anyway, I hate when I see Figo playing behind strikers, when Mancini will see that he is not for that position??

From 2 pages, Master Zen was the only one putting him in his line up. People are using him in their lineup for the Spartak game, but not here.

This is his last game he has to sit out, then his back for next weeks game against Udinese.

Why not use our most in-form player at the moment? In that case, Figo won't have to struggle and get total lost in the middle behind the strikers. M.Gonzales still have a lot to prove in order to start, so I would still use Figo on the right, Solari on the left, Stankovic and Dacourt in the middle.

Adriano and Ibra are expected to start in the attack, J.Zanetti should be moved back to his original position, Grosso on the left and Matrix+Cordoba in the middle.

Keep in mind that we have to keep up with Roma and Palermo, so we must field our best possible formation.

If Gonzales starts above Solari Mancini has finally completely lost it. How can you start a player who hasn't done one decent move while being at Inter above a guy who was man of the match in the last game?

I’m with you on that. Although you cant really judge a player based on those few minutes that Gonzalez have played yet I have been very disappointed with him.
He so reminds me of Emre when he just joined us. The occasional substitutions in the sec half where he was way too eager to show his worth, hence acting all radical, nervy and never get anything done until the final whistle. The exact same scenario applies to Gonzalez whenever he was given a chance to come in.
I guess if he starts which I surely hope not considering Solari’s fine form of late then he will have hic proper chance to show what he is made of.

He did start vs samp and didn't impres me than either. I can understand giving him a chance in a coppa italia game but not starting ahead of solari in a serie a game.

That’s right – I guess it’s either me getting old to remember these details or perhaps he failed to impress me as I watched the entire game and yet couldn’t remember him playing from start.

I would like to see Maxwell in the place of Maicon, also play Solari instead of Gonzalez or Figo.
And Recoba or Cruz are a must for the second half.
