I am the only one who reckons Veron would take the next step, if we had decent support from our wingers? Like consistent suppot which wouldn't happen to mean too much pressure and reliance on Veron, not to mention too much workload on Veron?
Injuries were problems in England, but he was poor, but now back at a real league, he's been brillant, IMHO...he has been excellent, at times his laziness has cost us some goals, but he has been inspirational.
Once we get a decent left mid, Stan on the right...that will give me the yips...I will be delighted when that day comes.

There is no doubt: The midfielders who is the future of this Inter is: Stankovic,Cambiasso,Veron,Van der meyde and Karagounis. The rest have to leave.

Veron is a world class player, who's been instrumental in our offense this season. He had bad games, but hey, who doesn't have? I was waiting for years to see those touch passes he makes, he's a true general in midfield!

Karagounis? He's not that reliable, he'll never be more that a good backup.

Hamed, being in Canada and watching the game too on TLN, listening ot the same comentator, I guess the guy went for Veron most of the game, maybe as someone said earlier here, he is a Chelsea or Man United Fan, but I guess veron did much better in the 2nd half.

Beside, if you look at the possession rate when he plays and when he doesnt, you know how important he is to us, as its been said here, I wont let him go unless we have someone far better, cause getting someone even at the same level would be considered crazy as it will take him time to fit in the group and we had enough preparations and its the time to deliver, we have a project for God's sake and not a Lab for experiments.

I like Combiasso, this guy plays with passion and fights no matter how big or small the opponents, I liked how the fans welcomed Vieri and even he was not fighting well for the balls but he did couple of good things and he just seemed to lack match fit.

Guys com'on I dont think Kily is better than Stank, forget the last few matches for Stankovic and remember the effort and passion he played and his performance since hte time he came, I think this guy is essential for our project.

Veron: Aloha Roberto! I wanna play in da mitdle on Suntay againzt Caliari. I donto like to playz on da rigt.
Mancini: Sure my honey. It's gonna cost you a blowjob though. :flirt::heart:

:yuck:

He's slow, clueless, can't pass the ball even if his mother's life depends on it and try to shoot everytime he has a clear view of the goal with no result! Hello, I only recall 2 good goals by him! His goal against Roma was wildly deflected by Mexes! And after all this, he is still assigned with the task to be the leader of the midfield. Cambiasso, anyone!?

Yeah, what about Emre who this season has always shotted when got the ball.

Difference is that Veron's shots are actually good.

And can't pass. Whatever..

sports.it pass stats:
1485 / 1120

Believe what you want but those are amazing numbers, when you consider that big amount of his passes are long.
Il Capitano's numbers are slightly better but only because he only give short passes.

Compare to another teams "passers". Veron is a hell of a passer. :star:

Emre has always shoot when he had the ball? Gotta disagree. ;) But on Emre's case, like we have been saying so many times, Emre has been under-used this season and Mancini clearly shows it that he will always be a back-up to Veron no matter what.

About the passing stats, I don't get it? 1120 pass completed out of 1485 attempted? Or?

Exactly.

Emre has always shoot when he had the ball? Gotta disagree.
This season we've seen actually pretty much long range shots from him.

Han sorry my man but ur definately losing all objectivity when u say Veron is clueless and doesnt pass well..

His long range missile to ZeMaria diagonally across the pitch to land perfectly on ZM 's chest is just one example of how good he is at passing.

As for leadership,Cambiasso leads us defensively while make no mistake Veron does it offensively.

Dont let ur love for one player blind u from the talent of another. ;)

Inter above all..

Frisko: thanks,I'm always trying hard! :D

Han, I have no clue why do you hate Veron so much. He gives so much stability to our midfield, which we were missing throughout the years.

If he's on, defs pass to him and he distributes --> higy posession, accurate passes.

If he's subbed: defs play long ball towards penalty area, 98 out of 100 of those are headed clear. Now, do we need him or not??

That has to be sarcasm. Karagounis is unreliable, in other words, crap? Hello to Zamat, did you watch the Euros? Did you watch Karagounis last year when he actually started games under Zac? Did you? There is no way that Karagounis was unreliable then and he still isn't now. Mancini has just not started him or even give him reasonable minutes for that matter. If Karagounis leaves to be honest I won't be a happy camper since he's a great player who simply isn't getting any respect at all.

Yes, in the bizarro world. Ch 1, verses 1:
The earth is flat, the sun rises from the west, Juve are an honest club, and Veron is world class.

I remember one of those and how awkward it was on Ze Maria. He had tonn of space, but Veron over passed it. ZM had to chest back from the touch line and had to cross it right away. It was his worse cross ever.

I want to see Stan as CM and Cambaisso as DM from now on.

I am truly dumbfounded by this declaration that Veron is great. Maybe I am missing something, go and see the Cagliari game. He was terrible, he was so lazy, he was elbowing players and shoving them in their faces.

The Veron of 99 is gone, I don't know when is he coming back. He had a chance to join us but he chose ManU, he screwed himself and he knows it. I hope he goes to River, and we get Pizarro.

my final statement for him: Zemat, Frisko and all other Veron believers, dont argue no more, because the only thing that matters is that Mancini agrees with us and continues to play him :D

And I will lay out our plan for next year.

Targets:
1. Fourth place, third would be good.
2. Losing twice to Milan.
3. Knocked in last day of group stages.
4. Veron sold at year's end.
5. Frisko, Helal and all Veron lovers banned after losing a bet to Han the Man.
