Definitely a game that we have to take seriously, but also rotate some of our players. Maicon is a player who perhaps should take a breather, and allow either Burdisso to play there or Zanetti. I'd actually go with Zanetti for this match.

I'd like to see this lineup:

I think we will cruise to an easy W in this one, a good game to get our players confidence up before we clash with Valencia, and also give our "Big Guns" a rest in the 2nd half.

Definitely a game where we can rest our usual startes, but it doesnt mean we can take it easily. Still...chanches that they can take away some points, in front of our supporters, are quite small...16 baby!

We've had some difficulties with Cagliari in the past. But this Inter is playing beyond anything most of us have ever seen... So I don't know, maybe there is no chance of overconfidence with whatever team goes out on the field.

Cagliari are without Esposito and some more, but the greatest threat is still Suazo. And there is no overconfidence in our camp. So yes, whoever gets the nod gives it all. We have shown it in our Coppa fixtures this year.

I think we should rest some important player for the Champion League against Valencia. Ibra and cruz should play a part in this for sure, perhaps as substitue to gain match fitness. Adri, Zanetti or maicon, cambi or vieira can be consider rested or not a full match at least. expected to see

I wanna see Mancin try out some defensive tactics in this game. I am especially interested in seeing how well the Materazzi, Burdisso partnership will cope with a striker of Suazo's abilities who plays much like Villa.

I see Suazo as the ideal warm up to having to play Villa give us a strong indication of what this defence is capable of. I would have actually rather seen Esposito make it for this one since he can mirror to a certain degree the type of moves Vicente will be putting on show should he make the trip to Milan.

I expect Mancini to play conservatively but do enough to get the win, hopefully. Players like Stan, Vieira, and Maicon need to get a breather three crucial cogs that will make or break the game against Valencia.

I would actually take a draw in this game if it meant winning by a three goal margin come Wednesday.

I want to win this game at all costs, we will make history here, maybe records are not as important as trophies, but give me a break, breaking a european record in style, is an amazing thing, people will always compare others then to us,

I would rest Viera and Stanko and play Figo and Dacourt for sure, and maybe rest chuchu and play Solari instead along with Grosso and Capitano, as Capitano has no problem playing ever 2 days even . such a consistant player.

in front, I would play Cruz and Adriano, I am not sure about our forwards, I wanna rest Adriano but then he is playing and scoring so why would we do that, Crespo is good too but I would leave Ibra ka Dabra to valencia,

Thankfully I don't think anyone at Inter will settle for a draw against Cagliari.

Villa has got some nifty close control and a short burst of pace from what I have seen of him. It will be a concern if Matrix finds himself isolated with him and drawn out wide or too tight. Then there's the chance our defence gets turned, goals, bookings, etc.

Quite confident our strikers have the power to net 3 at home to Valencia. The tricky bit will be keeping a clean sheet.

For me, it is important that Stankovic plays in this match. For the last 2 matches, Stankovic hasn't shown the form that has made him one of the best player in Europe thus far and it worries me since we have a huge clash against Valencia in the mid-week, obviously. We still have to take care of the fatigue factor, of course, but I think it is better to have a rejuvenated but tired Deki rather than a fully fit but the Deki of the last 2 matches. We need him to get the engines firing on all cylinder again.

Deki main strength is the heart, passion and that would need a fit legs to unleash him, therefore I would rest him for this and unleaash him on Valencia, beside he is cautioned, so let him play and get cautioned against Catania and rest with Udinese

Rest againist Udinese? I hate to play againist Udinese, they always give a headache to me. With guys like Muntari, Obodo, Iaquinta, Di Natale etc you cannot take any chances. With the right guidance (Spalletti) this team would be instead of Roma. Rather not have him playing vs. Catania.

We already had our week of extra rest thanks to Catania.
