Barrella motm. Lautaro has been great these last couple of matches. Esposito looked great in those minutes that he played. Great result.

Handanovic had a great game.

De Vrij was the best player in defence while Skriniar showed us after a while what he is made of. Godin was good and a calming presence there but nothing out of the ordinary.

Candreva was okay and his goal hopefully will give him some lasting confidence.
Asamoah wasn't any good but he had his fair share of decent moments.

Brozovic had a good game apart from a couple of farts but with Gagliardini so up high and a lack of lateral options it was evident.

Gagliardini was just running up and down as we are used to him doing. But to no avail as we are also used to him doing.

Barella was the best player tonight hands down.

Lukaku was a non-factor.

Lautaro had another very good game and should have had a brace.

Esposito had a very promising cameo whilst Biraghi felt a bit lost in the brief moment he featured. Was very hasty to get rid of the ball, he needs more exposure at the highest level to see if he's cut for it.
It was cool of Conte to sub Borja Valero in at the 90th minute. It's not like he's going to appear in many games.

We are allowed to aim for a draw in Germany but we can win if we have Sensi back and our defence has full concentration. Another win pretty much gives us the qualification at this stage if we assume that Barcelona will beat Dortmund at home, no matter what we do in Czechia. It's gonna be tough, but at least we passed the first test.

apart from that fire in the defense after Brozo's fuckup I didn't see any real threat from Borussia. Thus, can say we won it relatively easy. Congrats ragazzi!

Not sure what's more UNbelievable: Esposito earning a penalty with a pro move; Lautaro fukking it up; and Candreva (!!!) sealing the deal.

But hell, I'll take it all.

Yeah Esposito looked strong,
Lukaku didnt look too fit for this game,
I am hopeful we can use more of esposito this season.
Very scary game, but the team maintained focus for 90 minutes.. Last game exposed our setback and we managed to patch it..
Barella MOM,

Haven't been convinced by our corners all season tho. Unbelievable with the heading power we have up front we don't benefit more on this

Great match, Brozo and Barella was exceptional.
3 matches ahead will be very difficult.
Even Barca is struggling tonight against Prague.

Just realized that Hakimi didn't receive a yellow card for either of his 4 bookable offenses...

Romelu Lukaku after 62 minutes vs Dortmund:

8 touches
4 passes completed
3 possessions lost
0 shots
0/3 duels won
0/1 dribbles completed

7:45 minutes per touch on the ball.

65 million euro bum.

Tbh, usually we tend to play it short. But I was thinking the same.

There were 2 other fouls in the middle of the park that should have had yellows with other players, plus with Hakimi didnt get one when he pushed Skriniar or Esposito, plus the penalty is a red or at least a yellow. The ref was absolute dumpster fire trash.

Fucking disgusting stats. I'm glad and hope he was embaressed to get subbed and outshone by a 17 year old

Good game, very comfortable. Happy with the win but the next game is extremely important. Will be better for us as we can counter and thankfully we will have Sensi back

What a win, thoroughly deserved. Defensively solid, much confidence after a match like this! Shall we replace vecino with candreva for crucial goal moments?

Indeed. Esposito was the brightest thing for me in this match. :D

Of course the ultra rigid defense (minus blunders) was great, Barella was great, Lautaro was good etc etc. but seeing 17-year-old kid playing like that. That's something else at Inter.
