The key ist the ref?! can't be serious. First this bullshit talk about xavi- dani alves diving then the ref would help them? Of course you can't whistle like Övrebö did it in the Bayern and last years semi matches.
But this is not what we should worry about before a game. Our game is the most important thing.

Javier Zanetti,
The thing is Barca players go down too easily. They don't have the physical strength that we and Chelsea have. But that's the only way to stop them from passing around the ball, especially stopping Messi from playing his football.

What you're describing/advocating was never a part of the original game...Bullying a player off the ball is synonymous with tactics that involve physically impeding a player from playing the ball - hardly football, IMHO

Barcelona does not merely hold onto the ball for 90 minutes...If they lose it, they work like hell to win it back...Something other sides in world football should take note of - they work on both ends of the pitch

It'll sound a bit condescending perhaps although it's not at all how I intend it but we're all witnessing a generational sort of example of some beautiful football from Barca...This sort of play, consistently, has not happened in some time in the beautiful game...You can knock it or aspire to succeeding against it but I think you also have to step back and recognize that we're seeing something very special, atm

May last a couple of years, may last several but it won't last forever - even as a Barca fan, we understand that...I, for one, just want to enjoy it while it lasts and from the look & sound of many opposing fans & pundits, there does seem to be some unanimity in that sentiment...How can you not smile when you see what we all see out there...No reason to slam it, IMHO

Javier Zanetti,
I know that Barca play beautiful football, I know that Barca are not the team of 2008/2009 season, I know that this Barca squad will not last forever. But one thing I wanna see is Barca play JuBentus and get those merda crushed with their current form.

I didn't say that Barca players dive in every game, but every team around the world have diving players, especially Gerrard with Liverpool :D

I just saw the highlights of Barca Arsenal and Messi looked like a monster.
But the goals were evident errors of Arsenal's defense.

We need to frustrate them, just like we did against Chelsea. Let them have possession but make them play the way we want them to play. Faces of Chelsea were beautiful, Drogba and co. looked some pointless and clueless, they were like hitting the wall, they didn't know what to do.

Well, IMO Barca are not Chelsea, and we can't allow them to have complete control over the ball.. Chelsea may have controlled the ball, but not the game.. Barca are different, we must not allow them to have the ball...

jose knows the best :)

This is impossible to do.

Arsenal, who is one of the best teams in Europe in terms of ball possesion, had 35% of ball possesion in first game, and 40% in the second game, and you want us to not allow them to have the ball ? ;)

You can't stop the ball possession of Barca'...you "just" have to be ready by taking advantage of all the counter attack situations...that's why i truly believe that we have to play with 4-2-3-1.

Javier Zanetti,
If we press Barca then they won't have a chance on the ball. We can't make the same mistakes that Arsenal did. We must learn from our last matches against Barca and also from their ties with Arsenal.

I have a feeling that Mou will figure out how to stop Messi, but that needs way a lot of work.

You defenelly press better withe 4-2-3-1 than the 4-3-1-2.

Javier Zanetti,
I am pretty sure Mou will go for a 4-3-3 system. It's the only system that works for us in the CL. Not conceding in Milan is very important. We need to go to the Camp Nou with at least a one goal advantage. If we can keep our clean sheet against Barcelona then it's an achievement, but I doubt it will happen with Messi and Xavi in their ranks.

On any given Sunday you're gonna win or you're gonna lose. The point is - can you win or lose like a man? (Al Pacino's quote from 'Any given Sunday')

Recent pics from Inter practice (http://www.inter.it/aas/news/reader?N=33641&L=en&IDINI=33653) showed me that there is unity and great friendship between the players and that makes me extremely happy and proud and convinced that we can overcome this!

Mou should give the players inspirational pep talk before the match, something like this : Forget about the tactics just go out there and give all you got and I'll be satisfied ! You owe that to the club, to our fans and most importantly you owe it to yourself ! Now go out there and eat them alive !

IN MOU WE TRUST! WE CAN WIN THIS because WE ARE INTER! FORZA INTER

Javier Zanetti,
If Mou stays calm during a match then he can win every game without any mistakes. If he bursts into anger and yells at the players then they will get nervous and screw up the whole game. Just take a look at the Chelsea match at Stamford Bridge. Mou didn't speak a word. All he did is give players instructions at half time and look at the outcome. HE JUST NEED TO STAY CALM........THAT'S IT........

Javier Zanetti,
We can stop Barca's ball possession. It's not like no one has done it this season. Real Madrid have done it in the first Clasico and Stuttgart too. We just need to press their players, especially Xavi and Messi. If we leave any room for them then they will take full advantage of it. Xavi can't be given any space because it will be like a suicide mission if you do so.

Yeah, i do want it :D I know it can;t be done, at least not for all 90, or better, 180 minutes..

But even if they do hold the ball, we need to mark Xavi.. IMO, let Cambi stick close to him, and since we know Cambiassos main strength is the game reading and pass interception, he can try and mark Xavis passes.

So, even if they hold the ball, without Xavis killer passes, they won't be that dominant. I read somewhere that against Arsenal he had 92% of complete passes, around 200 in 1 fucking game.. Some players can't do that in all season

I know Barca has strong players, not just Messi and Xavi, but mark them, we have 60% of the team in control...

Javier Zanetti,
U know how Barca have possession? They just keep passing backwards so that we attack them and then you will see one player passes the ball to an open area in our defense and this is how Barca control the match and score goals. They can't have pssession if they just keep pressing forwards.
