They had De Rossi, Strootman and Nainggolan in midfield. Give me just one player of these in the current Inter squad and I'm welling to put my money on Inter beating Barcelona, reaching last 8 and winning scudetto.

Even between inconsistent and laughable wings, we're one midfielder away from knocking on the great things doors. Without good midfielder(s) all our efforts and Conte's efforts to improve this team are in vain.

If it's up to me I'd buy 3-4 top to above average midfielders in January and offer Vecino, Gags and Valero for sale for the first bidder and if no one wants them I'll set them free at the last day of mercato, because enough is enough.

Sounds like an overrated aggressive shit midfield trio.

Add drunk into it.

Valverde mentioned that he's going to rest some players cause of the more important league games ahead, specially that the CL game vs Inter isn't decisive and that they have already granted first place in the group.

Well, overrated aggressive and drunk shit midfield was enough to kick out barca as well as put some challenge to liverpool.

Well fuck, now we're up against young, ultra-motivated super talents who want to impress to get into their 1st team.

yeah, all that means is that instead of the usual suspects passing circles around us, it's going to be a bunch of teenagers making it that much more embarrassing

Bunch of kids who've never played in an atmosphere like the San Siro. Buck up. Nothing that happens between now and the end of that game is going to make me back off my stance that we have no excuses on Tuesday.

If we win the rest of all games this season, we'll win a Treble.

I assume Candreva is out of the starting XI.

So it's going to be

----------------Handa
---------Godin-De Vrij-Skriniar---------
D'Ambrosio---------------Lazaro/Asamoah
------Vecino---Valero----Brozovic------
-------Lukaku---------Lautaro----------

Wouldn't start Biraghi in this kind of game. He doesn't seem to have an anticipation for certain plays and seems a bit at low confidence-levels at the moment. Asamoah will start if he's ready for it, otherwise Lazaro with his fast feet.

Our game plan should be to play it very tight defence for the whole team and hit fast counters. Barca won't play defence, they don't know how to do it, it's not their style. So we're gonna have counter opportunities, we need to be ready when the opportunity arrives. Also we need to be calm and not expect any fancy game, not expect any control in terms of ball possession. Control the game by the movement of the defensive unit (which should be the whole team) and hit hard when Barca makes a small mistake.

So then, we have to play like we did in Barcelona for 45 minutes, but without Sensi, Sanchez, and Barella

Exactly. Most probably we won't get as many chances as back then, but we need to be decisive when we get. Also depends how focused Barcelona comes to the match and with which squad. Goes without saying we need to have air-tight defensive game. Last time we almost did it but one hiccup in Suarez's first goal and then Messi being Messi sealed our fate.

Meaning many clubs would be in for a treble if they won all their remaining matches

Not really, only the top table teams have that guaranteed, not the first placed only, also those which are two or one point behind, or three points for that matter, but with a better h2h against the leaders.

Did anyone see Suarez’ goal against Mallorca? Wow.

Messi had a banger as well and got a hattrick. Look to be in really good form right now. Hopefully they’re rested
