Bit of a slow start but the handball goal that was conceded and ruled out seemed to have woken them up.

Lautaro's goal still has me breathless! Not a day passes when I do not thank Diego Milito for the part he played in helping him become an Inter player. What a player! What a Captain!

I actually love how Hakan looked worried seeing Asllani's off ball movement, and how Barella is helping him directing the decisions, but it is not entirely on Asllani for his wrong off ball, cause it seems like the system is a bit different and more complicated (more swaps) than when he usually starts, and even when he was in a right position the teammates hesitate on passing to him, which lead to more confusion and alter to a different(wrong) off ball movement.

Kudos to his defense position improvement, he actually stopped a nice counter.

The team is so good though, you can sense they are energized and focus, like even with the uncertainty with Asllani, they show dominations.

Also thank you Carnesecchi. What a shit half from him. Not that there was anything he could do on the Lautaro finish, but he fucked up not getting the ball out of play when he beat Dimarco to the pass out wide.

So many times Barella has to move to Asllani’s position, receive ball and start attacking or Sommer boots straight to strikers. It leads to losing ball or disconnect to final third, ball movement is not smooth.

Certainly Bastoni kicked the ball to Miranchuks arm (without purpose), but Miranchuk approached Basto like he was about to hug him, so no scandals here. Clear hand. Great goal by Toro btw.
