Last season we did, in fact, concede 10 goals in the first 6 matches.

I also expected us to concede more, but I also didn't expect us to look like shit in the build up, losing Eriksen and Hakimi hurt us worse than Lukaku...

I believe it about the balance and how well our players can adapt with new tactics. Usually one or two players won't be able to adapt to new style. Usually those are older players. Once you chance something it will affect to many things.

Sad to say but at this rate Handa's days will be numbered. It happened to JC as well and IMO JC was much better form when he was forced out. But bigger reason was his too big contract.

Darmian has misplaced 7/19 passes, how is that even possible as a WB...

Not sure why the 3 cb's are so passive in defense either, they should put far more pressure on the ballholder when defending and not let them shoot for fun.

No pace upfront. Atalanta don't even seem worried when we launch it forward because they know Dzeko doesn't have the legs to get to the ball, unlike the previous 2 seasons when we had Lukaku to keep them on their toes with his sheer pace and strength.

Kinda worried about the outcome of this match. If we don't wake the fuck up, we might be in for a heavy beating.

Very good point. Lautaro is not fast enough to just power past opponents to lead a counter attack, nor is he the type to successfully dribble through opponents causing havoc like a prime Hazard. In fact he’s far more likely to ruin counter attacks by rushing things and trying some outlandish flicks and confusing teammates with these needlessly intricate give-and-go passes.

The other forward is a 35 year old Dzeko, probably the least useful counter-attacking forward on the planet.

Atalanta can stack up with impunity and keep themselves pressed up high, completely stifling our buildup from deep, winning the ball back cheaply and immediately launching on the offense again.

If we don’t sharpen up significantly this will finish 1-4.
