So the point of a winter break then is? If we are gonna play in 3 competitions and mid season friendlies we are gonna end up so tired. Or usual injury crisis is gonna hit harder and faster than before

I think it's a good idea and a good opportunity to expand the brand in a foreign market. The reason Thohir bough a club like Inter with history is because he can get the into games like this quite easily. EPL teams don't even get a break, I'm sure one friendly won't kill our team. Not to mention Milan is always doing friendlies over the winter break, and even did one in San Siro over this international break.

It's good experience for the team IMO. It will show what a 1st class European team in midseason form looks like. It's a friendly that we will no doubt take more seriously than them so I doubt we get thrashed. Either way it's about bringing visibility to the team, not really about the sporting aspect as much.

Fuck the foreign market. Go to these places with oil sheiks, they got plenty of cash to throw around. I've seen teams get as much 4-5 mill per friendly, that's nuts.

Dunno where to post this but actually today there was an in house friendly between Inter A and Inter B (coached by Vecchi) and both teams had mixed players from the first team and the primavera. Inter A won the match 4-0.
