Make a website that:

• Warns people about the dangers of vaccination
• Informs them that the earth is flat
• Exposes how Jews are running the world
• Proves that Elvis is alive
• Demonstrates that Finland and Australia don’t actually exist

You'll love this guy.

I could be wrong (I don't actively look for them), but I feel like there aren't many quality Italian football websites in English. There are a million of these garbage sites that translate articles (Sempre Inter, football-italia, etc.) but really nothing in terms of quality, statistical based analyses of games.

What I would pay to read is a statistical, analytical breakdown of our matches. We have that dude who has been breaking down key plays from our games using screenshots and Microsoft Paint, and people here love it. If we had a site that did something like that (more professionally, no offence to the dude), it would be gold.

There's nothing decent in English apart from stuff about the Premier League. Everything good is in its domestic language. German for Bundesliga, Spanish for Liga, Italian for Serie A, French for Ligue 1 etc. But the foreign ones have a greater range. English covererage is extremely limited to EPL and some main CL games from the top competitions in the top European sports. And UK media is also crap when it comes to American sports, but the language is the same so it's sufficient obviously. There's far greater coverage of the NBA for example in France and Germany than in England.

Compare that to L'Equipe and Gazzetta (and some more) who have great articles for over 20 sports around the world and their own countries... That's also because the English don't really care about sports, just football. And occassionally about rugby or cricket but mostly when England plays.

You could argue that it's a niche market on the rise, but so far the people doing it aren't really good at it. It'd be nice to have an equivalent of L'Equipe in English, but that's too hard to do, since the English won't do it themselves and there's a perception that the market is not large enough. It's basically like that reddit forums. It feels that everyone is there now (I've no clue how it works), yet everything is so alien with eachother. Or shopping malls. People like it when everything is concentrated in one area, so I'm guessing that if an English media outlet decides to create a British Equipe or Gazzetta version, they'll do wonders since the main language of the internet is English. I don't speak German but I also noticed that Bild has a significant range of sports they have specialised reports for. I'm guessing it's also of a high quality.

P.S: I did notice some American based websites that talk a lot about Mexican and occassionally South American competitions, which is a good thing. But it won't really trickle down to European leagues imo.

P.S.2: Please do not mention Sky Sports... I'm talking about real sports here.

fuck em all
Make a site about CR vs Messi, their goals, status, assists and all that crap, then put up a chatroom or a forum or something, and wait for underage fan boys invading your site for debating who's dick is bigger than the other.

Quick money and lots of traffic, lots of fucken kids out there.

Or just make porn site dedicated only for anal. I know I'll visit it every day.

i feel sorry for MVD

It would seem like a good idea that this theoretical site be steered towards more concrete translations and better tactical breakdowns.

Also cool to see there's a lot more people that find the current sites and their translations to be utter ass.

I set it up.

CalcioEnglish.com

It's not "officially" launched as I'm still assembling a team, and have a good number of Napoli, Lazio and Roma fans who are interested. Mostly just a template site, but I'm hoping to launch it soon.

If you're interested in writing for Inter, or helping out, in general. hmu.
