The soonest time will be in the winter break (if the team doesn't manage to keep their shit together & worst case loses the Club World Cup).
Rafa has his faults, but the bigger problem is the depleted, old, injured team. With all the love & respect I have for the old man, Moratti is the main one to blame in my opinion. A new coach can't pull young, fresh, talented players outta his ass so his situation wouldn't be that different than Rafa's. Even the best tactics would not apply to a team who can't function because they're all injured & fucked up.
Moratti decided to look at Inter for once in years from the business perspective: Finally getting near to make profits & let the club be run on what it earns without him pulling his wallet out again. He probably had perspectives of taking action in building the Inter stadium finally. BUT, as you see it doesn't work. With Inter it's either feed it outta your pocket year after year or be humiliated on the European stage & Serie A.
If this is the price to be financially secured one day, by investing money in fundamental elements like the stadium, then maybe it's fine.
You decide if this sacrifice is OK for you or not.
