What debate? Why is it insensible to talk about buying the best domestic players possible in a topic named HOW DO INTER REBUILD. Well, that's how I want Inter to rebuild and that's how most of the Italian Inter fans want as well as many foreign fans. Just because you don't share this opinion it does not mean that any mention of it has to be exiled in an "Italian players debate"

You know as well as I that by starting that topic here this thread will develop into italian player debate version 2.0 instead of discussing how the team needs to be rebuild. You can discuss what players you want in the squad without going into the whole italian inter fans feelings are more important then the other fans debate.

dunga won 50 out of his 66 games coaching brazil, that's a 75.75% win rate!! that's just insane, mourinho's win % at inter was 63 and it was 70 at chelsea

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunga#Games_of_the_Brazil_national_team_coached_by_Dunga

Be very careful about 75.75% win records with certain teams. With Brazil your win record should be very high and when you look at a lot of the teams Dunga coached against then its hardly surprising, China, Ireland, Wales, Kuwait, Ecuador, Switzerland, Mexico, Chile, Ghana, Uruguay, America, Peru etc etc etc, you really should be winning those games as Brazil coach. I will give you his record against top teams such as Italy, Argentina and England is also good but I don't think you can say Dunga's 75.75% record was amazing.

it's only natural that a coach face weaker teams, the fact that he consistently wins against them is another thing, that is something our dear current coach was never able to do, and that is also how you win league titles, not by being inconsistent but beating strong teams

I just don't think you take a national coaches winning % seriously.

The difference between the jobs are very different. A national coach works perhaps 30 days a year where as a team coach works 365 days a year.

frequency of games doesn't matter when you're looking at results

but the results aren't why i want him at inter, they are just a bonus, i want him because his coaching style perfectly suits our squad

He likes a more direct style similiar to mou's as opposed to the normal brazilian style. He places lots of emphasis on defence responsibility. He has also already shown he is not scared to leave big players out.

Why spend a lot firing a mediocre coach (Rafa) to get in another? If we get rid of Benitez we have to bring in class. Spalletti, Deschamps, even perhaps Dunga as the argument of Stefan and others is convincing though I don't buy into the 75%.

How is Deschamps class?

He got Monaco to the Champions League final, runner-up in the league and won the French league cup in his first post. He had one year at Juve in which he managed to motivate top class players, something Benny can't, to win Serie B. You'll say "ah but Juve should walk Serie B", on paper yes that's true, but motivating individuals like Juventus' team isn't so simple when they are playing in front of 1000 odd fans every week in rickety stadia. In his first year with Marseille he won the French league and French league cup, Marseille's first honours after 18 years. As a player he achieved everything and subsequently the egos will look up to him and he thoroughly understands Italian football.

Bale fail... also rhymes ;)

He doesn't have it for Italian football. Give me Vargas 8 days a week instead of Bale ;)

Why do you guys like Dunga so much? That dude is an incompetent tool. Who in their right mind would bring players like Baptista to the WC??

And Doni over Julio Sergio :rollani:
He's not a bad option though. Little experience though.

Spalletti!!!!

I wanna see these players at Inter in the next 3-4 years

Bastian Schweinsteiger
Riccardo Montolivo
Andrea Poli
Robert Acquafresca (hope he's willing to return after all the dissing we did to him)
Luis Suarez
Domenico Criscito

To join the likes of Sneijder, Coutinho, Ranocchia, Santon etc of course ;)

And of course all of them in the same years :)
