Help!

Ok, i have been having many problems with my internet latelly but i just made a new Windows XP account yesterday and managed to download both Firefox and Spybot. However, i was trying to get rid of all the spyware and stuff on my computer and for some reason i get this huge error on most of my programs.

The error goes like this.. "The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel".

I can get to Firefox and Spybot by double clicking my program and running as but i cannot do anything on my Windows. Can anyone help?
