pirlo-inter.jpg

So many youths enroll in Inter Milan young player academy yet so few who make it to the highest level. It seemed they have bright future ahead in their football career. The fans put their hope on them as the next star. Too bad. Some still play at highest level of football, but some play at lower division and worse, some gave up their football career at early age. Here are the little compilation of some players who once are the part of Inter Milan and Inter Primavera. Lets have some bitter sweet nostalgia of the players who once we bear the hope on.

Note :

*Age when the player departed from Inter Primavera

**Departed status means the player left Inter due to loaned, released, moved to other club, or promoted to Inter Milan first team

ps : Since the writing isn’t for serious purpose, sorry for inaccuracy then. Only want some nostalgic stuff and wondering how Inter young player academy works.

The problem when compiling this list is to classify which entered our Primavera and who didn't. I just cant find out precisely if they have even once were in Primavera. So, I just enter the players who were below 20.

That was quite informative. Interesting to see that some of them flat out failed and are without clubs.

Especially intriguing about Goran Slavkovski.....the next Zlatan they said....I guess he didn't have the kickboxing training to succeed or something

Andrea Mei is at VVV-Venlo in Holland according to wikipedia.

Ibrahim Maaroufi is at Parseh Tehran, in Iran obviously.

This is also the problem. Some players have different clubs according to both wikipedia or transfermarkt. I decide to refer to transfermarkt (slightly due to simplicity in researching).

We can get Moreau, that'd be +1 for our club trained players number, so we'll have enough for CL next season.

Or how about Eliakwu ? He is still unemployed and we need striker.
Well, perhaps in his 27 age, he has the same quality of 35 years old Rocchi :yao:

Still remember the first time he appeared in FM. He is the only player who is below 17 years old in Primavera, who thought he will eventually end up wandering without club ??

obi is in the hospital but natalino isn't?

Because Natalino were in hospital recently while Obi has been in it since year ago whenever he touchs the ball ?

The only notable ones are

Pirlo - our failure
Pandev - turned out to be decent/above average, but no regret on him leaving
Bonucci - not a regret again, he isn't better than Rano/JJ
Destro - have to wait another 2-3 years to see how good he is
Santon - not a regret so far
Balotelli - clearly the most talented, but his antics meant he had to go. Can't regret this.

I think Destro is a bit of a regret. Not a huge one, but he was given for 6m to Genoa as part of the Ranocchia dela, and then signed for Roma for ~15m. Hopefully, though, the lesson he has to teach us is that we shouldnt ever give away a whole player in a transfer deal until you're sure you know what he's made of.

You should certainly feel some regret for Bonucci leaving. Same deal, his valuation in the motta+milito deal was valued at 1.5m. We should have had more faith in our primavera captain - I think fair valuation would have been more like 6m (so 3m for our half). Do I regret it in the sense that I would like him at Inter now? Sort of. I think he works very well with Ranocchia, and it makes me very sad to see an Inter primavera captain make their name at our biggest rivals. At the same time, he's clearly also the lesser of the two defenders in that Bari partnership, and JJ is better than him. At the same time, does that mean we don't have space for a player like him? I dont think so. I'd rather him than Chivu or Silvestre any day atm.
