I noticed there is no handball thread. Anyone like handball?

We are the best in this sport. 2 years ago we won CL in women handball, the champs were Kometal. Our national champions.

So those who watch handball, post here!

lol yeah right, Denmark has by far the strongest league in women handball, Viborg won the CL this season, and I think Slagelse won it the previously two years.

when it comes to men then it's either Spain or Germany.

I watch handball all the time when there's no footy I like Croatia for some reason. I was sad when Spain took it away from Croatia, I thought Croatia deserved it.

Yes our biggest sporting success is the Champions League in 2001 won By Kometal.

No, I downloaded it to my PC (also downloaded players and teams editor so I improved Kiel's roster and stadium)...

What a great victory over Ukraine (did they ever miss any World Championship?) yesterday. We just destroyed them but now let's hope we will get better group than in our last EURO (Slovakia with Germany, France and Spain ).

I didn't see this thread before..Handball is one of my favourite sports and Croatia is definitely one of the best NT's since its independence..

We also have the best player in the World - Ivano Balić, who again got the award this year..For those who don't know, he is Michael Jordan of handball..

This is just EURO . Our juniors gonna play WC in FYROM and with their quality it will be their opponents who will need a lot of luck

Right, WC is in Croatia the year after..Well, you know that EC is stronger than WC cause all the best teams come from Europe, though it's good to see S.Korea, Tunis, Egipt and few others making some progress..

Hm... if I am not mistaken girls from South Korea reached Olympic Games final and lost in extra-time or on penalties to Denmark so there seems to be rising quality outside of Europe.

Big plus to our senior NT team is that an only players older than 30 are our 2 GKs (so they definitely have a future) and we have European quality team, too in Tatran Prešov. With budget like THV Kiel or FC Barcelona they would rule the Old Continent.
