I'm not betting this WC, but I think Algeria would be a decent bet to get a draw or win against Belgium considering the odds. Belgium don't have great FBs and Algeria have some good options out wide with Feghouli and Ghoulam.

I feel Algeria might be the underdogs this year. They have some solid players (never seen them play in their NT, just on club level). Could easily beat Korea, and can surprise against Russia and even Belgium. Not gonna bet on that tho

Yes, thanks to our -worthy federation, my hopes for this WC have been drastically lowered. Literally no expectations. (now I know what Fitzy feels like). Last time I checked Algeria were dead-on favorites to fall last in the group, which seems to be massively underrating them. I think they should be able to compete with Russia for second.

I backed Algeria to make it out in a WC pool with my friends, so we'll see if that pays off...

Would've prefered Mertens or Januzaj over Mirallas. But we'll see. Mertens certainly will sub in. Hazard hopefully explodes to his Chelsea potential. Also he has to play the weakest link in Algeria's team.

Yeah our fullbacks aren't good. But they did well last matches. Vertonghen's a beast. Alderweireld's a bit slow but his link up play and long balls are excellent.

Almost the same what i personally I only predicted Vermaelen over van vuyten and Mertens over Mirallas. The rest is spot on.

Buyten needs his few minutes to shine in a WC, he has deserved it after all those years and being the only still active Belgian player to have won a CL.

It won't matter against Algeria, that's why he's getting those minutes now. I think he will be benched after this game and subbed soon enough anyway.
