Why not play Vertonghen at LB and Denayer or Vermaelen at CB?

I think alderweireld-Vertonghen will be better because they played all year together there. Vermaelen is done, Denayer could work but against good strikers he still gets beaten easily

Arter (potentially the best midfielder we have but has always been injured for friendlies, if he comes I'll be delighted)

McShane, Pearce, Pilkington, Hayes all cut and Wilson still injured so sent home.

Yeah, I got the feeling Italy will win 1-0 or so. Vermaelen is rumoured to start dude's as effective as a plastic cone. Either way, Wilmots wants to play defensively, the one thing we suck at .

Courtois, Ciman, Alderweireld, Vermaelen, Vertonghen, Witsel, Nainggolan, Fellaini, Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku

Ciman is playing because we got no better RB, sadly. But he'll do the job. Vermaelen is as usefull as an ejector seat in a helicopter. Mr. Axel-I only pass backwards, sidewards and slow down the play because I'm a lazy fucker- Witsel, meh. Fellaini could be useful, but I'd rather not start him.

Wilmots should play on the offense. Since defensively, Belgium has a lot of issues.
