It's football we are talking about. I like their team and will support them in most of matches.
I never look at someones nationality. Serbian, canadian or iraqian, I really don't care.
Dejan stankovic, for example, wasn't in war killing croatians so why should I dislike him

I applaud you Cro, this is the spirit :star: :star: :star:

BTW Catanha, is Cavenaghi still stuck in Russia/Ukraine? Man, I really thought this dude was the next Batigol.

I think and hope serbia and argentina make it out. I hope holland's inexpierence counts against them.

Hmm, didn't know that you dislike Holland much or do you like Serbia more because of Stan?

Good answer, and I'm not in your shoes or anything like that, so I can't speak for you, but to see most Serbs do the "3 finger" salute when they score goals (ie- Kezman against Bosnia)....that's pretty deep. I guess thats the difference between us though mate, I could not forgive something like that whereas you could, and I applaud you.

Hamed, no one will be the next Batigol. Cavenaghi has some of the same abilities, and I hoped he'd turn into the next Crespo, but he is just too lazy, but he will be good to have because he can cause a lot of damage if he's on fire.
He's still playing in Russia.

None of our resident Argentine experts think Samuel is good enough to play for them ?

Millito better than Samuel ???

Yes, Milito is better than Samuel, and I'd say Samuel is battling Gonzalo for the 3rd central defence choice behind Milito and Ayala. Samuel will make the squad, but he will only play if Milito farks up big time.

:proud: :proud: frisko. thanks guys

3 fingers is national serbian "hello", something like that. So when kezman does 3 fingers after a goal it means something like "I am proud serbian" and there is nothing wrong with that.
Croatians does it with 2 fingers

Talking about kezman, I hope he won't play too much, I don't like him as a player..savo milosevic, vucinic or kovacevic is good...but no kezman please
same goes for drogba. I am big ivorian fan and supporter but I hate didier and hope someone will push him out of starting 11

Not because I want to start any discussion but if you say that the "3 fingers" is national serbian "hello" then you dont know anything about that...

from what I know this is the tchetnik sign and this is the sign the serbs did in the civil war when they came to a city..it could be for hello, but for most croatians this sign means a lot(negative stuff)

Back on the topic. Catanha so you don't think Tevez should be a starter? I just hope that either Argentina or Brazil win.

I dunno, I can't pick one of Tevez, Messi and Aimar. They're all just too good.
Maybe we could play a 2-4-4 formation and play all three of them with Crespo.

And Kosova, agreed with you mate. I have a lot of Croatian mates, and they have all told me that it is not is not a national gesture.

I know that is cetnik sign and all that stuff. But now, it's not like that. New kids are born, new genration, and 3 fingers are just a sign for serbians that "they are proud serbians"
there is nothing behind that

but it's not a time and place to talk about that. all I wanted to say is that it's amazingly dumb from me or any croatian to hate serbian soccer team cause of war. Soccer is game where we need to look players ability, skills and their desire for beautifull game, not their passports.

-------------TEVEZ

MESSI----RIQUELME---AIMAR

This is a very attacking line-up, but its great!
They used it against Uruguay where the lost 1-0 and Recoba scored the only goal of the game...

well...you said it yourself.. :)

it looks good on paper but it can't work, Riquelme needs at least 3 players behind him to work for him as he is offensively a genius, but I have not seen him win many balls back in midfield or go rough in duels in the last 3 years.
