Seriously, why are Benny Carbone and Cristian Chivu representing the club? Along with karagounis, choutos etc?

Toldo is pure class. Even at this age hes still pulling it off and hes playing with his heart in the game. Leave it to Chivu of all players to fuck up.

What on earth is Suazo doing there.

Not to mention fucking Suazo. We've got to find some better legends for these type of games. Than again this is Inter Forever not Inter All Stars

Recoba would be great, I don't think Adriano would be good for anybody. Better we remember him for what he was.

In a few years I hope our treble champions start playing in these games. Samuel, Maicon, even Eto'o.

It is always difficult to field entirely with legends. I remember I saw a match with the Manchester United oldies lately against the Bayern München Legendl with Saha, Blomqvist and Poborsky.

Has Ronaldo represented our Forever team? I have seen him play for different teams after his retirement but I can't remember if I have seen him back in an Inter jersey.

No, he hasnt worn an Inter jersey since that Lazio game.

Klinsmann on for Bayern. He should be wearing an Inter shirt.

few names for inter forever over karagounis, choutos, chivu etc: cordoba, figo, baggio, crespo, deki, veron?

the more i think about it, the more i agree with thatdude on bringing back the treble heroes. make things right. id love to see sneijder, maicon, and julio representing the club in these games.

and karagounis almost scored a fucking own goal. he passed it back to the goal when toldo passed it to him outside of his area, luckily it barely missed. in the process he conceded a corner kick. isnt this guy still playing for the greece national team?

The United States coach received a warm welcome from Inter Forever as he visited the Nerazzurri headquarters

MILAN – There was a familiar face in Corso Vittorio Emanuele today as Jurgen Klinsmann was welcomed to the Nerazzurri headquarters by Inter Forever.

"I’d like to send my best wishes to all Inter fans. I hope things go well for you in the future," declared Klinsmann, dedicating a message to the Nerazzurri faithful. There was also a word on the state of football in the USA, which he said was "experiencing huge growth".

Klinsmann then visited the trophy room, pausing for a while in front of the UEFA Cup he helped win in the 1990/91 season and even posing for a photo with the famous trophy. The German was also presented with a commemorative plaque marking the 25th anniversary of that triumph.

The former Nerazzurri forward explained that he was spending his holidays in Italy and would be stopping in Milan for a few days. Inter, it seems, is still very much in the German’s heart.

The Bayern München goalkeeper is a legend. According to wikipedia:

During his career, Butt scored three times from the penalty spot against Juventus with three different clubs.

VICE Sports has made a great video explaining the identity problem St. Pauli is experiencing as the kult-club has become mainstream which seems to annoy some of the older supporters.

FC St. Pauli is Germany's favorite second division club. This is due in large part to the progressive vision of the club and its supporters, which have fought against racism, sexism and fascism. Ardent fans and a punk attitude alone don’t make for a winning soccer club, however, and St. Pauli has been faced with the modern sporting realities of sponsorship contracts, marketing plans and business lounges. Now on the verge of falling to the third division, the club looks to balance profitability with the social responsibility that grew its fan base. We check in with fans, players and legends to see how St. Pauli plans to navigate the landscape of modern European soccer.

I'm surprised that they have 18 million supporters worldwide.

Watford has signed Behrami from HSV which most of the Hamburg fans are satisfied with as he was a disaster for them in what became his single season for their club. In a single year he had a fight with his teammate Djourou right after a match, he was way too aggressive on the field in most of the matches and had according to rumors an agreement with the club about not having to train as much as his teammates because his knees weren't capable of both playing matches and train. I want to thank Watford for not letting Mancini sign him.

And it seems like Sevilla just has loaned Immobile for the next season in which there will be an obligation to buy on 13M according to Bild.

A great article about Marcell Jansen and his decision to retire.

MARCELL JANSEN – A MAN WITH UNQUESTIONABLE LOYALTY

A small gesture of loyalty goes a long way in the footballing world. It may be a heartfelt message on social media thanking the clubs fans for all their support (B.Schweinsteiger), an emotional press conference thanking the club for all they have done for you over the last 25 years (I.Casillas) or it could be as simple as paying for some cases of beer for each of the clubs official supporters’ groups (S.Gerrard). The fact is in a world where mega rich superstars are often accused of having no loyalty towards the clubs who pay their wages and the fans that turn up year in year out, these small gestures go a long way to creating a bond between players and fans that has seeming been forgotten in the games cash driven modern-day era.

So step forward Marcell Jansen – The man who may have just made the one of biggest gestures of loyalty in the history of football by retiring at the age of 29 rather than play for another club.

The former German international has called time on his career after he was released by Hamburg SV at the end of last season. The left-back, who won 45 caps for Germany, enjoyed spells at Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayern Munich before joining Hamburg in 2008. “I thought about it on holiday. There were a lot of good offers but for me carrying on is not an option” Jansen told German newspaper Bild. “I am fit, and I could move on a free transfer”.

The defender said he had received “financially lucrative” offers from other clubs but preferred to look for a new career. “In the last few years I was very emotionally tied to HSV. I will continue to live in Hamburg and I will always love this club. But now some new club? No, I don’t want to lie or deceive some other club or fans when I am no longer fully behind it. I can’t just suddenly kiss another badge now. That wouldn’t be right. I am myself too much of a fan for that”.

Jansen started his career at Borussia Mönchengladbach, making his name as an attack minded full back. He played at the 2006 and 2010 world cups for die Nationalmannschaft and was capped as recently as March 2014. He joined Hamburg from Bayern Munich in an €8 million deal in August 2008 after helping Germany finish runners-up at the European Championship. The 6’3” defender proceeded to play more than 150 games in seven seasons with HSV. Jansen said he is looking forward to pursuing a new chapter in his life outside of football, “I’m delighted that I can have my hobby back, football used to be my job. Now it is my hobby again.”

Marcell Jansen we applaud you, Goodbye. And good luck.

The tiny club Darmstadt 98 got promoted to the 1. Bundesliga this season as mentioned earlier in this thread and it will now be with a familiar face for us Inter supporters as Luca Caldirola has signed with the club.

I showed a picture of their stadium earlier and nowI found this video showing some of the oldschool features of the stadium.

When talking about German stadiums then I want to mention the Waldstadion in Frankfurt as I think it is very underrated and I wouldn't mind if we got something similar here.
