Who would buy Hernanes? I'm pretty sure no one, and he was our key offensive midfielder in the last games of the season, so I don't think Mancini want to sell him anymore!

If we follow the path of financial pragmatism, we needed to sell Kova and Guarin (and a couple of other players on high salaries) just to balance our books. After that, we match INs & OUTs. But that path leads to mediocrity and the lower half of the table. It could be argued that Inter will end up losing a lot more in terms of reputation/goodwill if we go down that road.

I think Thohir is going for broke. The underlying assumption is that we will qualify for CL next season. If we do, we will balance our books the right way. Yes, its a short cut, and like any short cut, it comes with higher risks. But I believe this is the best way forward. Its time we act like INTERNAZIONALE!

I see where Bandiera is coming from, but I honestly think Thohir is doing the right thing. All the other big clubs in Italy are investing. guarin for 10 mill plus his 2.7 mill/year wages out wont come close to compensating 50-60 mill on imbula and kondogbia and their net wages of 8 mill. i dont see how any of this is possible without kovacic out the door, but even that wouldnt balance our transfer spending.
