We're signing a player who debuted in SA at age of 15 and you still care to report about someone 2 years old and only played in SB :yao:

Yet you find a way to NOT contribute to most things people say. Keep up the good work

salcedo video didnt really imrpess me much

i'd expect anyone who wants to be a primavera regular to be 'that good' at an under-16 level. People like Darko Appiah, Tassi, etc, all were as capable as him at that age.

I just dont think large deals for U-17s ever really works out. Look at Hachim Mashit, for example.

Joining inter is not stepping down. Even if it's for primavera...
So what if he played few games for Pescara...the fact the he feels entitled to keep playing in serie A is arrogant! Do you know how many players, played few games in Serie A, and they ended up going on loan to Serie B or C or even Lega Pro? What the fuck this guy is thinking he is? Pure arrogance in my opinion

Are you fucking kidding me? Dude, cmon, you're being irrational now.

He's at a level, at the least, where he's an outside shot for a Serie A team. He's perfectly within his reason, and perfectly entitled, to try to keep that position and compete for it.

The fact that we want to sign him for the Primavera is just ludicrous.

This isn't arrogance at all, this is called ambition. When you're developing, you're better off competing for a first team spot in a smaller club than competing for the Primavera at a big club. By a LONG fucking way. Look at all the Italy players in the last few years - vast majority came through the ranks at smaller clubs or by getting first team games early on.

No one wants to go Giovinco/Sturaro/Zaza

I mean fuck, let me just say Luca Marrone.

He's 18 fucking years old! Of course you need to be ambitious, nothing wrong with that...but to me this sounds more like a spoiled brat..
Are you telling me that his career will be ruined if, hypothetically speaking, cuz we don't known what the plan is for sure sure, plays ONE freaking year for primavera, with a huge chance to train with great players and first team, and learn from Spalletti? 18yrs old...ONE FREAKING YEAR not gonna ruin him ffs

Ruined? Of course not

But, most likely, behind his development curve vs playing 38 games in Serie B or, say, 15-20 games in Serie A? absolutely.

There's no better learning than doing.

FIF always blames inter for every fucking kid that fails...it's always Inters fault...never the kid. Some of people here talking about inter as absolute hell for young players...pretty soon they gonna start blaming inter for global warming and the bad economy in Greece!

Reality is even if he stays in Pescara he has a good chance of becoming a Serie B regular, which is already a much higher level than primavera

INTER OF THE FUTURE

Pellegri and Salcedo done for 60 million. Coulibaly close.

Inter are laying a solid foundation for the future by signing Pietro Pellegri and Salcedo Mora, both Genoa forwards and both were born in 2001. The first, particularly, already had a market last year when he was just 15 years old and without an appearance in Serie A. A predestined who ended last season with fireworks: started at the Olimpico on Totti Day and on the 69th minute, he showed his power scoring a goal with Manolas hopelessly hanging on his shoulders. We are talking about a forward who stands tall at 191 centimeters and weighs 80 kilograms. He was followed at some point by all the Serie A greats and many foreign clubs. Then Sabatini and Ausilio stepped up with a heavy wallet for both Pellegri and Salcedo, another central forward, who has the same potential as Pellegri according to international scouts. Moreover, Italian football is now forced to quickly step in on those players with great potential because at a later stage, it can no longer compete with the international battleships. The best example is what Juve have been able to do with Dybala and now hoping to replicate with Marko Pjaca.

Shocking cost The figures for this operation with Genoa are surely impressive: a total cost of around 60 million euros, including bonuses, signed at the start of July with the two players remaining at Genoa until 2019. Inter will pay 15 million for Pellegri plus another 15 related to bonuses in appearances and goals in Serie A. Regarding Salcedo, the fixed cost is 5 million while bonuses could go up to 25 million. In the meantime, Genoa are committed to close before tomorrow night (question of financial fair play). In the view of Preziosi and Juric are Puscas, Biabiany and Miangue.

Preziosi speaks “Pellgri and Salcedo to Inter? More yes than no. I hear that people talk about the high costs, but I could highlight other similar situations when teams paid a lot of money for youngsters. A total of 60 million? If we talk a lot about the world of football then we need to see if it’s concrete. When a player like Pellegri that has certain characteristics, I think he is interested not only by Inter, by Roma but also other international teams. Vinicius was sold to Real Madrid for 45 million at 16 years old, so what are we complaining about?”

Coulibaly Inter are really close to Mamadou Coulibaly, 1999-born midfielder who was featured with Pescara in 9 matches and almost always performed very well. Just like Pellegri, at some point, Juventus were strongly interested. Negotiation between Pescara, Inter and the player could find resolution today. What missing is the details with the player and agent such as wages, clarification on the project in which Coulibaly does not want to play with the Primavera. The cost is about 4 million euros (outright purchase or loan with obligation to sign) plus Carraro’s loan, the Inter Primavera midfielder. Another negotiation with Pescara is for another baby Marco Pompetti, who made 17 appearances and scored 3 goals with Pescara Primavera.

This kid is anything but spoiled, after all one can only appreciate his story, ambition and work ethics that got him to where he is now.

Rather than forcing the kid to Primavera, perhaps Inter should be a bit smarter and loan the kid straight back to bottom of the table Serie A team where he can be a rotation or regular starter, like Benevento for example.
