I wouldnt go that far, he is good but unfortunately he can not be the one to screen the defense as he is naturally a ball winner and he gets pulled out of the middle which exposes us. He is still very useful just not in the center.

i thought for a second you were talking about toulalan. toulalan his positioning and anticipation might be decent but with low stamina that to could quickly turn into another comedy show.

imo the only problem is chemistry. medel is a new player, brozovic is even newer. this whole midfield is still an experiment and has to gel. this inter isnt a well oiled machine were any new player can just slot in. they need time to get used to each other - strengths and weaknesses etc

and btw, how retarded is it to think one dm can protect a whole back 4. even the goat dm would not be able to do shit without proper support from midfield. not to mention the two clowns we have currently as centre backs.

Medel has been a complete disappointment, and I didn't expect much to begin with. I thought he was stronger and faster, instead he loses like half the physical duels and gets outrunned by everyone, his positioning is just awful, it's super irritating how he leaves his position to go on tackles that he never had a chance in hell of winning all the fucking time, his tackling is also pretty average, I would say that everytime he goes for a tackle there's like 50% he'll get the ball, which is mediocre for a DM.

Shockingly his passing and composure on the ball are the only things that have surprised me positively, they're not great, but are OK. His long balls when the opponents give him some time on the ball are pretty nice.

Medel is shit? seriously guys?
He can defend and pass the ball well, sometimes give a wonderful ball to our forward.
Medel isn't world class but he's one of our best peformer today.
