Well thats also fine, but then you should be dismissed on something like gross misconduct. Getting your salary paid is a fucking scam.

Don't have one.
WTF any truth to this? Because this sounds exactly like the dick move Conte's done.

If you're unsatisfied with the job which are still paying you well, you better have some dignity and walk out. Trash talking the management until they sack you is inexcusable.
Here you go, gazzetta is the source.

It basically says we don't plan to search for his replacement, so he will just stay under contract for one more year.

And yeah, as i v said, we tried to agree on mutual termination, and we couldn't find any agreement.

I could be wrong but not once have I heard about the separation being initiated from the company's side - despite the statement saying he was "relieved of his duties". As far as I know the decision to leave is all on Lele, just like Conte.
There are enough rumours about Oriali being forced out, for eg here. While obviously the club hasn't officially said they have sacked Oriali, which they never do, the fact that Oriali is refusing to leave without full payment of his contract suggests that there is some truth into these media rumours of Inter forcing Oriali out.

Who will replace Oriali? Is it something Inzaghi have a say in?

His closeness and fascination with Conte rubbed me the wrong way not going to lie. Anyway, losing him pales in comparison to losing Lukaku and Conte and co. so I'm not worried.

It's over with Conte - now Mancio is his love

Oriali being here had an effect that neither Conte nor Lukaku could ever have. His loss is too much to ignore. Lukaku and Conte and Hakimi are more than replaceable. It's just that we're not really willing to spend enough.

Gabriele Oriali opens up about his Inter exit: ‘I am sorry, but I respect the club’s decision.’

The Inter and Italy legend worked as technical manager in Antonio Conte’s staff but was relieved of his duties last week.
“Of course I am sorry, like those who will continue their path without somebody who remained close to them for so many years,” the former midfielder told SportMediaset.
“But what happened made me realize that there are so many people who love me.
“The banner that Inter fans exposed on Saturday and the chants for me will always be a part of myself. I want to thank all the fans, but Inter will forever be my home.”

Vice president Javier Zanetti wrote a message for him on Instagram after Inter’s announcement last week.
“Javier knows how much we’ve worked to win the Serie A title, which the fans had been waiting for 11 years. It was a huge achievement, to which many of us contributed, including Antonio Conte, who was able to bring Inter back to their standards.”

But why did Inter sack him?
“It’s not something I am asking myself. I respect the club’s decision, they are free to part ways with their employees.”

Oriali expects to remain part of Roberto Mancini’s Italy staff: “I will meet the federation in the coming days to understand my future and I think there are all the conditions to go on together until the 2022 World Cup,” he revealed.
“This was an unforgettable year for me, which ended with the victory of Euro 2020. A united group made out country proud, and Roberto Mancini and his staff deserve the praise for this achievement,” the 68-year-old concluded.

> Seems like another victim of the cost reduction. Maybe his role was not seen as essential given that we haven`t got a replacement?

if we've fired him and paid him in full, there's no cost saving.

He was fired because he was too influential to keep around.

So if I understand this correctly. Oriali was a very expensive liaison who was also a club's legend.

But when hard times came, he couldn't even stay to help the club, despite still being paid in full? Even worse, he decided to be such a pain in the ass to the point he was fired, and still getting paid?

And this has happened twice?

What bullshit is this?

Oriali was kicked out basically, I don't get it how anyone can twist it any other way. There were reports weeks (or maybe even months) ago how Inter do not want to continue with Oriali.

In 2010 after the treble, we sacked Oriali and replaced him with Branca and a decade of banter era followed. We got Oriali back in 2019, and sacked him again in 2021 after winning the Scudetto. This is not a good omen.

Oriali is a champion. He has won 2 Scudetti as a player for Inter, and 6 as a technical manager. He has also won the World Cup as a player for Italy and the Euro as a technical manager. One of our legends.

I wouldn't want him back tbh. Anyone who's willing to jump ship now when we desperately need their presence shouldn't come back when the ship is steady again.
I guess I was wrong and he didn't quit but was fired. I don't get why we fired him though? There's no cost saving because we paying him in full, so why get rid of him?
