What sucks about Guarin is that you can tell he has talent, so it's even more of a shame when he plays shit because everyone knows he can do better.

Guarin on his day is probably the best player in the side. He's also capable of misplacing every pass and shooting into the stand five times a game. The problem is that you cannot rely on him to perform consistently.

Frustrating player. His best game this year, and yet i count more then 10 times where he fucked up our attack, and when he doesn't lose the ball he is slowing down the tempo. The only good thing is his defensive strength. Sell him.

I think the biggest problem that Guarin has is he thinks he can release killer balls. He can't. He is awesome at winning and distributing the ball, but killer balls are better left to Kova and Hernanes

He did release some killer balls last night though, especially that cross which Icardi hit the crossbar from outside the box.

In one of the article, it was mentioned that Guarin is the kind of player who can confuse the coaches to assume that he is a quality complete midfielder - whereas in truth, he is just an average player.

He had a nice game yesterday, but as already mentioned in the above comments, he still had brain farts every now and then during the game. I do want him to fool some other teams and help us getting some good $$ to get a quality consistent performer. Y. Toure despite his age would be great for us (2 seasons at least) and would be a perfect player to replace our Mr. Inconsistent - Not easy though huh !!

I agree he did release some good ones too.His problem is when he thinks too much or tries to do too much. If he can have the set mind to keep it simple until that point where he sees a chance to shoot or make the killer pass then he would be a beast. Just yesterday he had two players on the break in one side and Icardi with two defenders on him on the other side and guess who he passes it too. A much harder pass for a much harder situation for the recipient.

MOM, easily. While others played great it was him who broke the deadlock and consequently provided TWO assists for Icardi, could've been three if he hadn't hit the post. Last couple of matches we lacked impact and this one could've easily go down the drain in a similar manner.
