I'd like to think that he will either fail miserably or surprise everyone for the best. Above or below average, but not average. My 2 cents.
His tactical formation and style is somewhat of a more attacking Mourinho in his years here: plays wide instead of narrow, with pure wingers, 3 central midfielders with a higher defensive line.

Very good appointment. I missed this news and was surprised to see Mancini getting sack as Inter planned and signed players wanted by him.

Anyways de Boer is a good young manager and should bring lot of proper attacking patters in the play rather than just hoping something will be done by someone randomly. Hopefully he is signed for long term.

Personally I'd be happy with just a CL spot. Can't expect more as I feel it's a Year 0.

Finally I can start watching preseason again and sit with excitement before our league matches. What a fuckin relief.

I'm thinking EL minimum place this year and min CL place next year is a realistic goal. Of course this is without any unexpected problems throughout.

Welcome Frank to this madhouse. I have a bad feeling about his style of football not working in Italy but i hope he proves me wrong. He's definitely an upgrade over Mancini. At least now we'll have a coach with a plan. Though this change should have happened at the end of last season. Terrible timing from our management as usual. I am afraid there's another year zero ahead of us. Best of luck Frank. You'll need it.
