In about 30 minutes from now, it is exactly one year ago that Forza-Inter.com was created. It has been a hell of a ride, and much like the football team we dedicate this forum to, it has been much troubles. With that said, the trouble has not been the members, but technical issues.
When me, Han, Tim and Ronald sat down and discussed the possibility about creating our own forum, we first started out on a free server. We trusted a person to host our forum, even when we had made it clear that we didn´t want any problems. Sadly, this person all along deceived us, and it took less than a month before we exceeded the bandwith.
So we needed a new plan. This time it had to be a paid server, which would be a problem for everyone but stinking rich Handoyo.
Let me just say that without Handoyo, there wouldn´t be a forum or Forza-Inter.com
He´s the sole owner of the domain name and has even paid it twice all in order for us to have the perfect URL.
We spent a few weeks trying to find the best possible server for the best possible price. After a while we found StartLogic, which now seems like a big mistake. But nonetheless, that server had a very good deal and a fair price. But none of us had any creditcard, which was yet another obstacle to create the forum. Luckily, my aunt was nice enough and accepted being the owner on "paper". So actually, she owns the forum, but fear not, she is a huge Inter fan too.
The installation of the forum and all the design was quickly done, as we had saved all the codes of it, from the previous forum. We knew exactly what to do, and when all the money issues were solved, it didn´t take long to get started.
Forza-Inter.com grew quickly, thanks to the connection with previous Interforums.com
But, there was also newcomers that arrived and who has established themselves within this community.
The forum had a ratio of 140 posts per day, and was one of the most successful new forums ever on the net. Especially when it´s in English and about a football team.
However, the problems would reappear and this time, it was severe. In January or so in this year, the server crashed and the entire forum was lost. Thanks to Handoyo (once again) he had a backup of the database from November, which could be installed. We lost approximately 10 000 posts and 100 members.
Believe it or not, but two months later, we have gotten that numbers back. We have more than 400 members registrered and it posts more than ever here.
Today we celebrate one year, and this forum would have never been such a success without all you members. The management team has had to dealt with ridiculously little amount of troubles with members, and only two members has been banned within a year due to bad behaviour. That is very unique for a forum.
