Alonso had problems irrelevant to him in both Monza and China. In Monza he retired and lost I don't remember how many points (6 probably) and in China if Renault would've not screwed up the pit tactics +2 more with Schumi -2 points off. Anyway it's sad that it "ended" (technically not, but practically it's done) this way.

Again a chance to see them face to face was wasted as Alonos was slowly catching up with Michael. Eventhough they would've probably just tried to keep it safe as Alonso couldn't afford retiring. Now there are two ways to get excitement.

1.) Alonso having problems and final laps of the race catching up with the 8th place. (in case Schumi is driving first)

2.) Alonso retired or out of the points and Schumi fighting Fisico in the final laps of the race with Fisico leading and cars running pretty much same speed.

3.) First two comined.

In any other track the chances of this to happen are pretty much 0, but Brazil is probably one of the best races of the F1 thanks to the rains and rather tough track. I'm very happy that this is the grand finale.

When before it was 90% that Alonso will win the title then today it is 99%. Too bad it all ends that unluckily for Schumi, but I guess it had to be like that. I'm totally happy with Alonso grabing the title as a Renault fan, but that was not the finale I wanted for the F1 season.

Funny isn't it, Schumi hasn't had any reliability problems in years and in his last two races hes gonna be plagued by them...

This was one of the best Michael's races in career... Alonso (lucky chicken) is champion, but he deserved 30% of it..

I'm a Mclaren supporter but today I wanted it to be Ferrari's for both Massa & Schumi! I have os much respect for that guy and today was so emotional. I had a tear in my eye at the end of the race. He'll never be forgotten.

#Well done to Alonso! Apprently the players were gathered in the Bernabau earlier today to watch the race.

And its the only way he does..

For me its like the world ends with him, but thats the way I am, and I'm not going to repeat myself anymore and annoy you guys..

There will be noone like Schumi!! Drivers will win more or less, but nobody will ever be near him!

I'm just greatfull I could witness his career and historical moments..

Once before, I said I'm going to name my son Michael, and I will introduce him to the man he was named after.. He will watch all my taped and downloaded races with Schumi..

I forgot only one thing... :star:Felipe Massa:star: what a lad and great guy.. I hope he wins the title someday! He surely deserves it.. He's got class, he only needs reputation..

I will never be noones die-hard fan in F1 anymore, but I will always support Ferrari and whoever drives for them.. starting from Kimi and Felipe.

An era has come to an end and there is nothing more to say than once again..

Schumacher did a wonderful last Grand Prix, nothing went well but he still gave a great show to the fans. Either if you loved him or hated him everyone must admit that is an icon of F1 and will always be remembered as a great Champion.

I didn't forget Alonso, that had a very regular season and is a great driver and deserves his prize as he worked well for it.

So to Alonso and Schumacher CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Don't have doubts that Schumacher is a great driver F1. I don't like him, but I respect a lot of him. Massa wins at Interlagos after 13 years Senna has win there I cried by it yesterday.
