Playing with these for the last two months. Mercurial Victory III Turf. They're decent.

I have been looking at the predators they look okay but I wanted to go with Puma or a different brand than addidas since my current boots are a addidas davicto firm ground but its so hard to find boots in nyc its not even funny. When you do find a store their prices are way over priced and also they usually on have addidas and Nike boots.

I called Puma stores in manhattan and I got the shock detail that all the puma stores in manhattan don't carry cleats in the store because their regular clients aren't looking for football cleats and that I must just order them online. I asked how does that make sense, how is a person going to order something without at least trying them on, not all boots cut is the same some might be my size of an 8 in US sizes but might be wide as a result I might have to do a half size smaller. The person on the phone said good point just go to another store in NYC that has them and try cleats on then go back to Puma website and order the correct size.

Only in the USA stuff like this happens when looking for a new pair of football cleats. Wish their was a section of manhattan with just european, south american, asian, african football stores that would give a huge amount of options but I am stuck with the few stores here in NYC that hike up their prices because they know their isn't a lot of football stores.

PS: does anyone have any opinions on the Puma Powercat 3.12 Firm ground boots?

well im not sure about 3.12 but i still have my 1.10 FG pumas and they were great imo.. really comfortable, and not like Nike mercurials where i kept getting blisters and felt uncomfortable when shooting, like the ball kept slipping off my boots.. they get better over team, when the leather gets a little battered, feels much better when touching the ball.. i got size 9.5s, even though im actually a size 10(UK) in other trainers

Thanks for the info, your 1.10 FG pumas is the higher end boots in that same series which is the Puma Power Cat series. I order a pair of Puma Power Cat 3.12 FG for $26.99 and a pair of Joma Toledo AG (AG stands for artificial grass) for $28.00. Since half the time I play on artificial grass fields and grass fields in NYC. Never tried Joma but according to a friend I play football with he says Joma boots are very good fo their prices.

Just ask Bowie, then send that data back to earth telescopically via his pointy nipple antennae.

I need a new pair of cleats, so I've been looking around, but I freaking hate the designs on everything out right now so I decided to play around with the adidas customization feature on the new predators. Came up with these three. Thoughts?

Don't bother with those expensive dot shit shoes. I got myself some awesome Nike Tiempo and Mercurial boots for a reasonable price together (€70). Feel good and they dont look like some 5 y/o kid made them. I mean the design.. We all know who makes them Nikes products.

My favorite pair of cleats I owned were predators from 5-6 years ago. I really didn't like the nike cleats I have been wearing, so I wanna try another pair of predators

Never bought any cleats that weren't Adidas. Design-wise and comfortness they are almost always better imo.

Does anyone have experience with soccer.com? It's been almost a month and they haven't shipped my boots. My season is half way finished and I'm super pissed about this :/
