Inter boss Mancio suspended Wednesday 3 November, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter Coach Roberto Mancini has been handed a two-match touchline ban for his comments towards referee Matteo Trefoloni.

The tactician was livid with the official after Lazio held the Nerazzurri to a 1-1 draw at the San Siro on Saturday.

Mancio argued with the man in black after the game and severely criticised him during his post-match interviews.

The Sampdoria legend will now have to watch the matches against Fiorentina and Bologna from the stands.

Mancini, whose side are already a massive 12 points behind leaders Juventus, has been handed a fine of £1800 too.

Inter will also be without Juan Sebastian Veron for their trip to Florence as he has been suspended for one game.

Six other players have been ruled out for the weekend. They are: Nygaard, Di Biagio, Sculli (Brescia), Mesto (Reggina), Muntari (Udinese) and Zampagna (Messina
