Yeah, shit happens, just how Barella had some stinkers but was still very important for Inter. Mistakes happen even to dominating players.

Yeah I understand but I don’t think he is more deserving then other players on that list. Jorginho and Pedri have to be there imo. So one slot is available, id say Xhaka, Busquets, Hojberg all deserve it more.

You know, I'm confident of a win here solely based on Italy's quality here and how bad some of England's players really are. However, part of me can't help but acknowledge how convenient certain aspects of this tournament have been for England and how we might see them repeat during this match. I hate to sound like a stupid conspiracy nut but a successful English national team behind an already financially successful EPL would bring in a lot of revenue for certain governing bodies. If there's any nonsense like that Sterling penalty in this game I'm calling it back to this.

I've also enjoyed my life with the idea that we will never see England lift a major trophy and I want to continue doing so. I do not want to be 80 years old still hearing about the "greatest ever NT side - the 2021 England team" that won the Euro that one time.

I think England's gameplan is to keep a clean sheet until the 70th minute, and then use pace off the bench to exploit an old and tired Italian defense.

You do not sound like a nut, friend. If anything, one is reminded that England did not legitamtely win the 1966 World Cup. History is written by the victor.

Don't have one.
Would really love if italy win it, but I already said this a few weeks ago when it became possible these two will play the final, I really don't see how, england just has more quality and terrible matchups for their defense. I think italy best bet is to be patient and wait for their opportunities, like against spain. If it comes to penalties, they could have an advantage, every other scenario including extra time is not going italy way imo.

It's always bugged me when players sing behind the beat during the national anthem, especially with Italy's one, which I've always considered to be an upbeat banger.

However, I've noticed Immobile is always on the beat. Man's got rhythm.

Chiesa vs Maguire is so one-sided. I hope slab head over there gets embarrassed all game.
