Oh, another idea we should execute is giving nicknames to former and inter players of today. Those two up there are freebies. i have feeling uni would be good at those.

Recording could be held about two hours before the game, depending on who is going to participate in the episode at the time.

Look, from my experience in radio programs slick you gotta make an script with the topics and the ideas of the discussion, is organized but scripted at the same time, doesn't feels like natural.

If you want a minumium of organization, there's gotta be 1 or 2 people moderating: say Dylan and myself. We design the script with the hottest topics, we start the discussion and that's it, its matter of doing it dynamically, ofc, we can't talk about 1 topic for 1 hour, unless it's previously decided like that.

Anyway, I'm up too. If there's anything I can help with, just ask.

I'm thinking about helping, it's just the time differences that can be about tricky. I'm at school for majority of the day from Monday-Thursday but off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I also don't have a mic/headset.

I'm also at school for/working in the sports industry (not saying for who or where, but it's a big organization). So I know what I'm talking about relating to everything inside Sport management. :alone:

As far time zones go, we can work it out and have different time of recording, depending on who will be recording. I certainly don't want the east asia/ozzy folk to be awake at ridiculous hours just to record this. We will just try to figure out what would be the best time to record for everyone, before each episode.


Big willy, those are some good ideas. I will make the script for the questions that will be featured for every new guest, and also some other stuff, but for that i would like to see what would you guys like to talk about

All I can say is that I've a got 7+years of exp in audio eng. and mixing. Use Logic Pro, and have a bunch of podcast, audiobook, restoration all that crap. a pro condenser microphone, Izotope, Waves, a shitton of other software/hardware etc etc. But I wasn't mentioned, so :finger:

Well, in project mgmnt we do it like this:

1. Set timeframe (monthly podcast for this is best for many reasons tl'dr if I state them).
2. Set topics to be disscussed (I recomend opening a new thread for example, titled topics for January 2015 podcast, and present a poll with ten options from which the 5 most voted will be discussed in the pod).
3. On the same thread where polling beings on topics, fif-ers should comment on who they think it's best to discuss for the month a certain topic. Example: I'd request Nyall to speak on the sacking of Mazzarri, if more users do the same, then Nyall must record himself or write (I'll read) then send it over to the "collector".
4. Apart from 5 topics to be disscused, it'd be great if the end of the podcast was a skype convo between 2 users and a moderator who'll ask whatever questions and get replies back and forth - questions could be asked for in the poll thread.
5. "collector" gets the recorded audio file too.
6. "collector" passes audio to me then i join it, master it, upload it through various outlets (Podbay for example is great)

So it's not easy, roles need to be assigned, and obviously no one's getting paid for this and "wasting" time, even though the outcome would be professional.

I've done voiceover work in the past as well, so it's no prob for me. Gather a team, a collector (project manager) that will make sure everything is delivered and the FIF monthly podcast could very well be published online

I know this is asking much right now, but could the podcast have his own subforum in the offtopic subforum? In that case i'd like a separate thread for timeframe management, a separate thread for each month and a suggestions thread for the podcasts overall (which could be this thread, but renamed).

Reviewing each month of inter games seems like something we could add as well. Just a quick look at our form and how the manager is doing, if he is fixing stuff or not. If we get this podcasts started at the start of december, we could already make a review for n8vember, which could be interesting since it still has mazzarri in it too and the start of a new mancini era.

This doesn't mean you have to be on every episode, and like I said, I don't want 10 people together in one episode, but always a lower number of people, like 3, 4 or 5.

I like the idea of thematic episode of Balkan players where me, Pajo, Armes and Pimp go through the history, talk about stats and the (no)success they had or the drunk episode while analyzing the previous month.

And while I say thematic episode, I don't mean it to be only about that, but it depends on how much time we have and how much ideas we have. For some things, people like I4E, bandiera, browha and Inter_stats will come handy, even if they will not vocally feature in the podcasts, I'd like to ask them a few questions and gather some stories, since these guys seem really knowlegdeable about Inter.
