Can we allow formation changes depending on automatic substitutions? Right now substitutions function so that only defenders can be replaced by defenders etc, instead of the first player in line.

As is, players can only be substituted (automatically) with players of the same position, since there seems to be a formation-lock of some sort in play.
Say I have player A (a midfielder) in my formation and he doesn’t play, and my bench looks like this in prioritized order;
Player B (defender), player C (attacker), player D (midfielder), the game will skip player B and C and sub in D because he’s a defender.

I’m asking if we can change it so the game instead substitutes player A with B (if possible according to formation rules, of course). I know that it’s possible since I saw somewhere (can’t remember which screen) something about a formation change post- or pre-substitutions.

yeah because serie a already started, you have to make the formation before the first game
