Many of you might think i'm overly biased with my choice, but in all sincerity, i think he's the spark that has brightened up what has been a generally dull midfield this season.

Adriano
No other player has proved to be as influential in the strikeforce as Adriano. He has done a lot to prove his worth and the future looks ever so bright.

Is there a reason not to have Inter's heart and soul win this award?


Under-Achiever of the Season

Christian Vieri
Face it, we all expected more from the guy. Whether it was down to his or Zac's fault, i would have thought that Bobo would finish the season on a 20 gol mark at the least.

Thomas Helveg
At some point in the season, i actually thought i could do no worse than him on the field.


Most Improved Player of the Season

Francisco Farinos
Well, if you took into account a player's past form in previous seasons, then yeah, i think the Spaniard deserves this award. He has actually impressed me this year. And that was after i gave up hope on him.

He has been the goleador this season. Enough said.

Jeremie Brechet
After all the hype, all i saw was a very unstable player obviously out of his depth.

Beating Juventus at Delle Alpi
I don't think a lot of Interisti here can testify to having actually experienced something like this before. For most of us, this was a first.


Worst Moment of the Season

Losing to Milan, again and again.
The worst feeling in the world is losing to Milan.

Martin's gol against Juventus
Maybe it wasn't so beautiful. But for the sheer excitement and passion it brought out in me, this has to be the gol of the season for me.

Defender of the Season
Cannavaro finally looks comfortable but ADANI has impressed me more coming out of nowhere stepping up when needed everytime showing he can be a leader,a warrior and a scorer.

Stankovic...Since he came our midfield looked better and more assertive. :star:

Adriano :star: Although we just got a taste there is definately more to come


Player of the Season
Javier "Il Capitano" Zanetti since he is the leader by example and Mr.consistency..I would like to see him more vocal and score more though.


Under-Achiever of the Season
Vieri...nobody can live up to his standards and thise season he couldnt either.He was still good though but i hope next season we see the best of Vieri starting with the EURO :star: Maybe his main problem is that he spoiled us in the past and carried this team so many times


Worst Player of the Season
A couple come to mind but i got to say Lamouchi.. :yuck: Makes me wish we didnt get rid of DiBiagio who could have done much more than this shadow of Lamouchi

Most Improved Player of the Season
:star: RecobaAAA :star: He sucked in my book last year and he shines in it this year...It must be his best year,he clicked with every player upfront.
I have to mention that Farinos did step up though several times.

Canna's far strike was nice but it was 1 out of 6
A couple of Oba's goals and Vieri were nice as well as Cruz and Recoba but the two decisive ones have to be Adriano's against Parma and Empoli which sent us to the CL next year...They might not be the prettiest but they are the most decisive this year.

Player you wanted to see more of.
It gas to be VDM or Karagounis but for me VDM since he is much better than the replacement we had in the lineup.

Player u wanted to see the least of...
U guessed it Helveg ,we just saw too much of him and even though it isnt his fault i just got sick of it especially with players better than him could be inserted in the lineup.

Player I Want To See More
It's kinda hard. IMO, Van Der Meyde is one hell of a wasted talent. But so is Karagounis. And I want to see more Beati or Biava in the team rather than forcing Capitano to play in the middle and putting Helveg on his position. I'll go for the first though, Van Der Meyde.

Duh. Helveg is a strong candidate. But so is Cruz!!! Cruz is more of a liability than asset to Inter, most of the time he has played!!! But still, playing with Helveg is equal to 10 vs 12. So Helveg gets the award.

29 November 2003. Juventus 1 - 3 Inter. Best Inter moment ever!!! The Highbury spanking comes close though.

Worst Game of the Season
Prior to this game, I've been praying for a week to hope for an Inter win. I was so tense in real life you can see it. How did the player responded??? Playing like headless chickens and get thrased 1-3 at the first Derby d'Madoninna. :rollani: That was the last time I prayed before an Inter match. I become bit of an atheist after that. None came close to this. The second Derby game...I have prepared myself mentally and psycholigically that we'll lose so it wasn't that bad.

Defender of the Season: I think it has got to be Daniele Adani. He filled in for Materazzi admireabley well. I think it was close between him and Cordoba..but Adani for me.


Midfielder of the Season: Stankovic. Once he settled he became a key figure for us...no-one else was even close.


Striker of the Season: Martins, Vieri and Adriano all did well. Vieri wasn't at his best though and Adriano only played half a season..even though he was fantastic I'll go for Martins.


Player of the Season: Javier Zanetti


Under-Achiever of the Season: Jeremie Brechet - A big dissapointment.


Worst Player of the Season: Thomas Helveg...although a lot of players were pretty crap to be honest
