This is what happens when you base your decisions on being a fan instead on a sporting decision. Going to this Liverpool would be THE BEST move he could make. Yikes.

Also there isn't a great market for forwards. Kane for 120m (bonuses included) is still safer than 100m for Kolo Mouani, 70-80m for an underperforming Vlahovic or 80 for Jonathan David.

Kane is safer on paper, but still very risky considering he never stepped foot outside that island. There is a good risk he might not adapt to a non-EPL league at age 30. Same risk is there for the other players you mentioned but they'd have good resale value if things go south., but it's still short-sighted.

Btw, 80m for Vlahovic or Jonathan David would be waaayyyy more in character of Bayern than spending 120m on a 30yo. I don't know what their record transfer fee is for a 30+ player but I highly doubt it even cracks the 50m mark. Kane is a world class player now but not worth 120m for Bayern.

Kudos to Kane for not giving a fuck about what they say. Trophies > personal records, this is a team sport after all.

Absolutely. And he's Premier League top scorer for three times, won multiple "England's footballer of the year"-awards, four times in the EPL Team of the year ... He has enough personal trophies.

I consider him great and he seems like a real professional ... But I'm still surprised that Bayern pays so much for a 30+ player with one year left on his contract.

What if it's a life decision and he wants to live in London over any other English city?

All the best to Kane for having the balls to leave what is a comfortable environment for a new challenge.

And no one would blame him for it. Like a friend of mine who lives in Manchester says London is another country compared to rest of England.

There's no alternative to London in England. You have to go further north to Edinburgh and Scotland to find a decent place.

Liverpool and Manchester are good places to live for English standards but in terms of European standards the quality of life there is rather poor.

Even most London is quite shit, but at least it's closer to London proper than any other place

I was relieved to hear Liverpool, a proper club, had agreed a fee with Brighton. I have no clue what Moisés is thinking. Chelsea are a complete joke

And yeah, he's overpriced, everyone is. He will also be a top, top player very soon
