Thats great job by ajax, but what do they even do with it. They havent won anything in Europe in almost 30 years and are not really competitive, other than that 2018 run. Id have higher ambitions if i was them.
The only way Ajax can do anything in Europe at all is by selling players. TV money and sponsorship money is negligible in the Netherlands. If you want to win the CL you will have to go with the big money and let Ajax not want that. Ajax is convinced that with good scouting and policy, a good youth academy and a portion of luck, it is also possible. And if it's not possible then don't. Ajax will never become a buying club and that is a good thing. I would rather Ajax play EL with many players from the youth academy than CL with a bunch of players bought together. Some things are more beautiful when they stay as they always were: A beautiful club known for its youth academy. Too big for the Netherlands, too small for the CL.Thats great job by ajax, but what do they even do with it. Yeah it's in the law. So they put them so high to make them irrelevant in terms of someone trying to trigger them.I think in LA liga you have to include hence it being so high. Given a choice I don't think there would be a clause.
They also tried to sign Keylor Navas but they were rejected.
