Lack of new developments/progress and all the noise coming from both clubs.

I don’t think it’s over just yet. Zorc has done this a few times.

Sancho might have to push though

Might be just a negotiation trick to get as much money as possible. They have followed the same trick all the time.

Maybe this time this is off and we won't be signing going by what we have briefed the press.

I am sure Dortmund fans love this guy

David Silva to Lazio, done deal.

I know we already got Eriksen and co, but we should have still signed him. He's still got a lot left in him and I think he'll do well in Italy.

Could be something as simple as knowing he would have more playing time than he's certain to get here.

I mean, not sure we ever inquired to begin with, but it's also a matter of the player wanting the club as much as the club wanting the player. Lazio has CL football and Rome probably isn't a bad place to live. They also play a pretty progressive brand of football. He could definitely do worse.

Yeah not saying it's 100% over, just that it looks more unlikely. Dortmund have done this many other times but players pushed for transfer by transfer request, missing training. Something like that should happen also going by rumors we have to up the bid by huge margin. The rumored bid is very poor.

Yeah, from almost administration to one of the top clubs in Europe. They have done very good job tbf to them.

I'm sure most foreigners (especially those with money) would prefer to live in Milan over Rome :pazzini:

Not saying we should've signed him of course. Either way, good move for Lazio, maybe.

What is the rumored bid?

What is the rumored bid?

60 million + 20 million add ons is what Falk said (Bild reporter), previously Romao and others said only thing holding up the deal is payment structure.

Not sure how reliable Falk is for Dortmund. The best German source for them is Ruhr Nachrichten. But yeah. If that's your offer, I can't see the deal going through. It's significantly lower than the rumored 120m price. Zorc claimed Sancho has 3 years left in his contract so they aren't in a position they need to sell him now at all costs.

60m€ immediately + 20m€ add-ons won't get Sancho. But 60m€ divided by installments and addons (easily achievable) will probably get you Sancho.

Eh? The difference between "€60m upfront + 20m in add-ons" vs "€60m in installments + easy bonuses" might be significant if the asking price was €90m or something lol. But they're still way short of his supposed valuation. Whichever way you construe it, there's still a whopping €40m difference between that bid and the rumored €120m price tag that's been touted for months.

Doesn't sound good.

Good for whom?

Which means its time to prove himself at a new team.

Guys we've found our new left wingback.

If Dortmund sells Sancho for 120m I'll send them a truck load of ice for them to sell to some eskimos. They can keep most of the profits.

Falk is good, he is very good for Bayern but also good for Dortmund.

Its hard to believe this btw, there were rumors that we had bigger bid, offering 60million upfront and other 60 million in installments + addons. Around 100 million + 20 M in addons IIRC.

Those are the reported numbers. I dont think Sancho will be sold for anything less than 120 million. Not sure about the contract though, it wasn't published and Zorc said same thing about Auba too, I mean his contract when everyone knew contract was till 2020, he said Auba signed extension till 2021 and even that was not published.

Maybe it's all part of transfer game.

whatever you think sancho is worth, his value is substantially enhanced by being a coutnry-trained player. Not just for europe, but also the premiership rules - I think United need to have at least 8? country-grown players in their squad of 25 now.

Yeah, HG or PL trained player is not an issue for ManUtd. We have too many of them.

He is class anyways and still just 20. Easily worth the money considering the prices of few other players who aren't as good as Sancho.

Sure, but for an english player it probably does inflate their value overall. If, say, Chelsea would pay 120 for Sancho because he's HG, then there's no argument for United not to
