Do you really want sugar daddies in Serie A though? Because whoever ends up with said sugar daddy will end up buying all the (remaining) talent & weaken the other clubs even more. And unless that club is Inter I'm sure nobody here would want to see that. Though I guess it could attract more foreign talent to the league again which would be a positive thing. So, trade-offs.

The way I see it...
We have Campagnaro and Andreolli... we don't need that Villa defender.
We are getting Botta, returning Bessa and Crisetig and in attack we might be getting Icardi. We need focused Serie A buys next season.

I want us to be in the top 3 next season if not winners of Serie A. You can win Serie A with a limited budget. Transfers should be short and focused to needed Serie A focus, then when we reach Europe we buy bigger names. I see we need to get at least another winger and attacking midfielder along with at least one more full back if not of course two, one for each side because Alvaro and Yuto are baaaad.

As for the people to be sold, I think we need to sell Ricky and Schelotto/Kuzma and Yuto and Alvaro if we manage to get new fullbacks.

I wonder how the hell we did not buy Poli outright.

And look at how Barcelona dominated for the previous 5 years it was mostly based on their ability to grow talent at home, that's what we should be doing rather than throwing money at a problem. I'd rather have us secure the club's economic future for the long term which will lead to sustainable winning rather than splashing the cash around.

What is Inter up to?

I heard RuBentus are going to Madrid to try for Higuain and perhaps address their only weakness.

Meanwhile our drama queen president isn't sure of what he wants to do. Sad stuff really.

I will just quote another member (Bluenine) here:

I don't understand this rage at Moratti for taking his time on this decision - why is it strange to take a couple of weeks to make such an important decision? I mean, hypothetically there could be many perfectly valid reasons for Moratti taking his time, for example:

- He could be negotiating with a new investor, and wants to make the coaching decision jointly.
- He could be waiting for Milan to decide on Allegri, before making his decision.
- He could be evaluating Mazzarri's plans for Inter, taking time to decide whether its worth it or we can afford it.
- Or he could be just waiting for Mazzarri to decide, before making any announcement.

Or many other perfectly valid reasons we don't know about. IMO this is a decision I hope he makes after a LOT OFF THOUGHT, coz we CANNOT afford to get it wrong again. I rather he take 3 weeks, than make this decision on an impulse.

So I say, take your time Moratti, and then think it through again. Just GET IT FUCKING RIGHT this time!!!

Porto

Sold Moutinho and James Rodriguez for 70 Million. Sporting had 25% sell on fee clause, so Porto negotiated price to 70 Million with James for 69 Million and Moutniho for only 1 Million

If this is true that's hilarious. How dick can you be? I guess they won't be doing business together anytime soon. Not to mention they are really taking the pants down on Monaco. French league might actually be interesting next year.
